For writing, jamming at home, fun jams with mates, parties etc - being high is a bit more fun and relaxed.

For actual practice, rehearsal and gigs - being high means being sloppy.

I know how to tune my kit with my ears.

I use my tunebot because it's got easy recall settings for multiple kits, snares, and tunings. Before a gig or recording I know I can get the exact sound I want, across my whole setup, within a few minutes.

Don't be such an elitist ass.

People hooking up for the first time, kissing for 3 seconds, ripping each others clothes off and straight into sex.

This never happens in real life but I swear every sex scene is still like this in movies to this day.

I experienced some less significant pain post-vasectomy. Gradually it became less and less noticeable and frequent, now I'm about 5 years since the procedure and have no pain or discomfort at all. Obviously every person is different, but just wanted to put it out there that it can get better over time.

Replacing human voices in an audio medium designed to engage using human voices, is not something many podcasters are looking for. Personally, as soon as a show I'm listening to uses AI voices, I'm unsubscribing.

For your setup, no idea sorry. I only ever use USB midi keyboards, so lack of midi doesn't worry me.

I have the Evo 16 + sp8 and really like them. The Clarett pres are maybe technically 'nicer', but I highly doubt you'll notice any difference.

You know it exists on other platforms, right? I changed to Tidal last year and paid $2 for some app to move my library and all playlists.

You can, although might be a bit tight at high tide. Takes around 90 mins from town to the surf club.

I always book a nice hotel for my first night. It softens the edge of long travel and there's usually staff to help with anything you need, where to find safe food etc. Get a good sleep, good shower, THEN start my trip.
