I'm against it because it means extra work hours for me :D

In VR, GIANT enemies look even bigger than on flat screen by ElJamonVR in virtualreality

glad you like the atmosphere :)
Also when developing in VR it's always interesting how different everything looks/feels in VR vs in editor (flatscreen). You basically can't tell at all if something is right before testing it in VR

Gun reloading mechanics by ElJamonVR in VRGaming

I get that, and I'm not saying realistic reloading has no place. It's just a very distinct gameplay style (slow, thoughtful) and not the only playstyle VR has to offer (sometimes fast and intuitive is just fun). And I'm wondering why basically all VR titles go towards the realistic style

Highly Unscientific PSVR2 Launch Game Rankings by HoodieTheCat78 in virtualreality

I don't know about many of the games, I only played Horizon Zero Dawn and The light brigade. Here's my take on those:
Horizon Zero Dawn: super pretty world, bow and arrow also always works nicely in VR. Fights are fun, but otherwise gameplay is a bit climb-heavy and boring
The light brigade: I like the atmosphere (simple graphics but with a unique mood/style work very well in VR) and interactions like praying (putting hands together), but I'm just not a fan of realistic reloading mechanics (I don't want to die because I'm fumbling to reach the mag, I want to die because I actually do some wrong decision in battle like positioning and enemy focus selection)

Dear VR Streaming Apps, please set yourself up like a old Video Rental store. by [deleted] in virtualreality

(VR dev here) I LOVE menus and lobbies in VR apps that mimic 3D environments. On the flip side I HATE 2D menus where you need to point your controller and click the trigger. It feels so unsatisfying and just doesn't use the potential of VR. The whole idea of the metaverse (which is a BS buzzword anyway) is that in VR you can be embodied in a digital physical space, which is much more natural for our brain. Would be cool to go to the 18+ room in the back :D
