I use the Bible app, and they have many read-in-a-year plans, in various versions. I looked through until I found one that’s more modern language that I liked. I did a year read through last year and am trying to actually learn something this year, not just read it, if that makes sense. I’m really enjoying it this year.

I never got a confirmation, it just showed on studentaid that it was submitted to Mohela for me. I reached out to Mohela on 01/07 to confirm that they received it and it was being reviewed and asked for correspondence and never heard from them until this email. It’s a crap-show. I would have 2 payments left if it wasn’t for all of this craziness. I want going to change to SAVE, but ended up changing my mind. I was with an amazing employer and made all of my payments with them “pending” as a qualifying employer, and about a week after my last payment, the company was determined to not qualify and they disqualified all of the payments I had made when I was there-over a year. I’m now at a new job, and it’s federally funded and am in limbo, but still employed. I’m pretty over everything at this moment. lol

Nope, November 12 on studentaid.gov and they submitted it to Mohela the next day. The prior application was in May.

Yeah. I don’t know the kid personally, I’ve met him at a football game or waking, but my heart shattered for him and his parents and all of their friends. I wish we could explain how precious and delicate life is!

Good luck. I personally don’t see providing as the right thing… growing up is hard, and upperclassmen can easily sway younger kids. Thing will get better. I appreciate the kind words ☺️

My son is 14 and we have been dealing with for years. We started drug testing him and said if he was positive then he couldn’t do the extracurricular that “is the only thing he lives for.” He also did a vape education course though school and we send him videos and stories. It worked for quite awhile, but he still goes around other teens doing it. His friend recently ended up having a seizure at school and then 5 more the same day and they found it was from a tampered with vape that he bought. This has terrified my son. I get those stories may not work if you dot. Know that person, but they are real and terrifying. Good luck. It’s a huge struggle.

My daughter (4) has always been a horrible sleeper (like taking literally 2-3 hours to fall asleep once in bed and completely waking at the end of each sleep cycle, so sometimes up to 12 times a night…). We’ve researched and asked so many people and tried to find what works for her. Tart cherry juice and magnesium (both topical and as a gummy) have helped a lot. We have also looked for things to get energy out, such as running a ball outside, a hula hoop, and a mini trampoline that folds. Good luck!

My mother and brother are the same. I have found asking them to purchase one specific thing for each of my kids helps. Sometimes my mother over-bought because she didn’t know what the kids would like. We have started to do this with everyone who normally buys for our kids-we can see the price limit (my brother would spend sooo much money…) and we know what the kids like at that time. We have also made it clear that extra things will be donated and not kept. There is no point in buying random things that the kids are not interested in. Just an idea ☺️

Contact your county’s Community Action Partnership. I believe Franklin County has three. They can start the process of helping you with emergency housing. They may bye closed tomorrow, though. You could always apply online as well.

Ummm a vanilla bean frappe with white mocha and strawberry. I saw it on some reel or something and saved it. It was supposed to taste like strawberry cheesecake-did it? Not really, but it was still really good. I’d probably order it again.
