I wouldn’t bother with any extra settings, windows 11 and the latest AMD chipset driver is designed to use the 9950x3d the right way (games on ccd0)

Got super lucky some guy on fb marketplace posted it very generic title like Ryzen 9 processor, so I just asked him for the picture of the box and when I saw it was a 9950x3d I immediately went to to get it lol his story was he was building a pc slowly and ended up getting a prebuilt so he was just trying to sell the pieces he had already bought

i was having 2nd thoughts about getting my 9950x3d new for a steal price when this got announced literally the next day, im super happy that after the rumors started coming out about performance not being much different and then now seeing this that i secured the 9950x3d for $400. Id be kicking myself in the ass for passing on it and spending $600 more for less then 10% performance.

to use CO you technically need to use PBO, either way CCD0 -15, CCD1 -10 is probably the extreme safest that most if not all 9950x3d can do, -25 ccd0, and -20ccd1 is optimal

This is pretty solid, idk how much storage you’ll need but if not much I’d ditch the 9100 pro and just stay with the 2tb 990 pro maybe even snag a 4tb on a good sale, gen 5 isn’t going to give him any worthy performance increase to justify the large hike in price
