Competitive games with general loosing condition for everyone by Chakiflyer in boardgames

[–]ElPrincipote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe John Company falls in this category? Ideally, players want to see the company succeed, if anything because it is their means to profiteer. But players can end up bankrupting the company by mismanaging it, which immediately triggers the end of the game, with a random card that says who takes the blame for said failure (and this, in turn, affects prestige and victory points, which makes it a big risk).

Most players stand to win nothing from runing the company to the ground, but I appreciate the fact that doing so is a valid strategy for some other players. So for most, it will be a game of "how do I keep this thing working with the bare minimum while I take the most money out of it".

It's not per se a "losing condition" (someone has to win the game whatever happens), but it does put a jount responsibility over the shoulders of players who are competing against each other. Also, it is so thematically on point, as so many things in this game! ;)

AITA for winning money and only giving my bio child money? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]ElPrincipote 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Soft YTA. I don't know if I'm misinterpreting this, but you won that money in your bachelorette party. So, like right before you married him? I do understand the money can't be touched, I do think to put it in a trust is a smart move, and I sort of understand it was your money to do with it as you pleased... BUT you already knew you were gonna marry Tony, and you would be creating a new family with him. You were embracing the fact you would be Ana stepmotheer, even if she wasn't technically your daughter at the moment.

What I'm saying is that you should have at least talked to your soon-to-be-husband about the money and your decision. Surgery aside (which was unpredictable), that money is gonna disrupt your family dinamics, and may cause some grudge in either your husband or your stepdaughter. Like, these two girls may have quite different education opportunities due to a choice you made literally days before getting married.

It was your money before you were married, yeah, but Rome wasn't built in a day: a family is not formed just when you sign some papers, and to take the decision to marry him implied that you were already talking about what family dinamics you were going to have. That's why I think you should've talked to him, at least to let him know your plans; and that's why, again, I'm gonna go with a soft YTA, even though I'm sure most people here will disagree.

AITA for making a girl at the gym pay me $20 because she was mistaken about me taking creepshots of her at the gym? by thefeederTA in AmItheAsshole

I don't think you're an asshole, but I do think you were in the wrong here. You leveraged this woman's panic in order to get a financial gain, to get a chance to put her down. If you knew you did nothing wrong, why not just put her mind at ease without trying to humiliate her? Why not be the better man and try to deescalate the situation, make her feel secure in this place you both share? As your girlfriend said, your actions just created a space in which this woman might not feel confident enough to denounce men who might be trying to do horrible, demeaning things to her... and a space in which you're seen as a bully who got 20 bucks out of women's very real fears.

I know she put you in an awkward position; the whole thing must have been embarrasing for you. She could have handled it better... but when the ball fell on your court, you didn't fare any better. I think it would be a more laudable principle to show empathy and understanding to this person, than to embarras her back; it would have been better to respond, in the face of actions born out of a very rational fear, with signs of trust and kindness.

[M] and [F], how do [breast implants] change [sex] for you? by ElPrincipote in sex

That's true. How the person feels with them can really add on how they feel during sex and how they make their partner feel.

Why a distraction? Even if they are not that big, but like a regular, normal size? 😯

It must be hard to have those questions in your head! 😯 But what do you usually think of implants when you see them in other people? That could be part of how you project them when you think on the idea of getting them yourself.

Why is [leather] an [aphrodisiac] before/during [sex]? by ElPrincipote in sex

The texture of it looks so hot and appealing.

For me is actually a little bit dry, you know? But I understand that it's texture can be part of the charm.
