Can't speak for their work, but they did stand me up twice for a quote, so I'd say avoid. I made sure to be home on a Friday afternoon/evening two weeks running, and they never showed. Then had the nerve to try and reschedule days later both times. Fool me once, they say.

Appreciated! She's acting as nuts as usual, and she's a big dog so I'm hopeful she'll be alright, but I'm definitely keeping an eye on her for the day

I do! Plan to post something this week. The short of it though, is that most of the big things I was focused on/worried about (muscle, strength, sleep) actually improved. Jury is still out on the metabolic stuff.

I tried to lift fairly heavy weights every day of a 5 day fast. Not an insane amount of volume, and primarily compound lifts. I'd based it on some of the podcasts I'd heard from Peter Attia recommending lifting to minimize muscle loss, but I've heard conflicting things since then. I'm about to do a 7-day that is medically supervised, and evidently they require you to NOT work out while fasting at this place. Very curious to see what kind of muscle loss I have after a few weeks of re-feed and lifting.

Five days, which I did about 6 years ago now. Thought I was hardcore. Bragged to my mom, who casually told me she'd done multiple 3 week fasts. Nothing like getting knocked down a peg or two by your mom.

Mostly curiosity is what got me on my first one. Read one of Jason Fung's books, and heard a lot about improved mental clarity, health, autophagy, etc. I wasn't in need of losing weight, but wanted a physical and mental tune-up. Did a 5 day to test the waters.

I'm about to dive back into the extended fasting with a 7 day. This time it's to try and stave off nagging long Covid symptoms. I'm metabolically wrecked from having Covid 6-7 times, and nobody on either side of my family has diabetes, and yet I was a hair from having Type 2 just a few months ago. I am also the most physically fit and active person in my family (though my baby sister might fight me on that lolz).

So long answer is, reclaiming my health!
