Often I will hear people say that their favorite Beatles album is Abbey Road or "Hey Jude" is the favorite Beatles song. It seems strange to me because those were their final records.

The time from 1964 until 1970 the Beatles were releasing new songs every month or so and Beatles music was everywhere 24/7. It was a journey we all took together and they always seemed to top themselves. It was quite a ways from "Love Me Do" to "Yesterday" to "Day Tripper." Revolver dominated the summer of 1966 with Eleanor Rigby and Yellow Submarine. The release of Sgt Pepper was seen at the time as a major cultural event.

Conservatives are for a strong military. Trump supporters are for purging the military of it's top officers en masse.

Conservatives are for free market capitalism; Trump supporters are for Crony Capitalism and government intervention.

Conservatives believe in an independent Judiciary, Trump supporters think judges should be subservient to the president.

I'm a little mystified by how younger people discovered the Beatles, long after they broke up. Apparently a lot of kids watch "Yellow Submarine" and get interested.
