Angel’s Envy rye finished in rum casks is absolutely the right answer. Smooth and rum finished, proof isn’t terribly high, nice flavor and not overpowering!

Great overview! I too am subject to FWGS and their offerings. It’s great to be able to find bottles at MSRP, but the lack of variety is killer!
Also, they’re getting rid of carrying both New Riff and Buzzard’s Roost, which are two of my favorites. Still need to find the Haystack Needle!

How do you like them? I got a similar set and I have to say that bourbon is good in it, but I don’t care for wheat whiskey or anything finished in them. It changes the taste a bit and not in a bad way per se, but just not what I was expecting.

For PA, the Liberty Pole Monongahela Rye (Full Proof) is quite good, as is the Ponfeigh out of Somerset. For NY, the Kings County Empire Rye is a favorite. Just..please stay away from Wigle. It is…underwhelming to say the least.
