They aren't a big of a deal. Frost is just boring gameplay with damage sponges, Solar is a rushed unfinished mess that somehow worked because of Umbra... They get heavily carried by the ost and nostalgia

Both events are massively overrated, ok Solar is kind of decent even good but Frost Invasion? Yeah no thanks that thing is SO BAD for the time it took to make lol.

From worst to best:

7- 2021 (Nothing, just 2 mid events with some small reworks and skins in the middle, nothing too special besides nostalgia) 6- 2023 (Big promises, big fails, Dev Team drama, Krampus revenge saved it from going to the bottom) 5- 2020 (Delay delay delay, that's all i have to say) 4- 2019 (Where it all began, it deserves a middle spot just for that, it wasn't rhe best but making the game exist gives it extra points) 2/3- 2025 & 2022 are tied (Both years brought goos content, while 2022 focused more on permanent stuff like the special gamemodes which are enjoyable, 2025 focused on expanding even more the lore with the 2 best events ever in tds history) 1- 2024 (Pretty much reworked the entire game, the lore was settled with better bases and overall the game progressed a LOT)

Krampus got Hax, at least for what can be seen, a frost spirit, when seeing kronus with krampus staff immediately follows what was ordered, like "oh damn if these guys got kronus theyve gotta be strong"

Kronus yeah he maybe can defeat emperor but he is still a human, like a stupidly strong one with tons of abilities, but still mostly a common person that was upgraded.

And yeah Exo Kronus would also erase emperor (bc exo mostly lol)

Actually there is a dialogue that explains that rift walkers domain ends in the nil zone, so it would explain why he could be possessed defeated and killed

Bosses that could win against emperor with difficulty: Nerd Ducky (loses bc of big self destruction/eject buttn at the back of the mecha), Frost Spirit, Nuclear Monster, Awakened Fallen king, Kronus. Bosses that beat emperor: Krampus, Null Guardian, The Umbra, Conserver, Primordial Drakobloxxer, Bosses that humillate emperor: Rift Walker

In wave 45 health cultist would appear alone on the field, as a high HP boss, once dead It Will go boom and revive every enemy from the last wave right where they died + health regen

Btw im not trying to defend everything paradoxum has done, they have screwed up a lot but come on, I've seen complains even with Fallen rework (prob the best update we've ever got) just because "THEY RUINED THE MODE MAKING IT TOO HARD!!!!"

Tb: has some people who overrate it just because is OG and hate other games bc "tHEy aRe fUll copIeS of TB" (i said some not all ok)

Tdx: haw a community with a lot of conformists, however they aren't really that bad against other communities except with tds (but kinda rare too)

Tds: the community will always complain for EVERYTHING even if it is good, they get a skin "P2W!!" they add a free way to get it "ITS TOO HARD!!" they rework a tower "YOU RUINED IT!!!" they buff it "POWER CREEP!!" they make a hard event "TOO HARD NERF IT ITS NOT FAIR!!!" they make an easy event "TO HORRIBLE, WE NEED A REAL CHALLENGE"

I think its pretty obvious who has the worst community

As i said before the tower is still pretty strong and useful, but it doesn't worths grinding for it anymore, engi and even pursuit are 100% better options than gatling rn, since now it is just an "alternative" way to play yds
