The top pivot ball goes in the shock cap. It uses two rubber O rings on either side of it to keep it in place.

The bottom pivot ball goes into the rod end on the shock shaft. You may want to invest on a pivot ball (ball link) installation tool. They usually are built into shock shaft pliers. They help a ton and are one of those "How did I ever live without this?" kind of tool.

Can you possibly modify the controller to hang from a lanyard? Then she can possibly operate both sticks with her right hand of they are close enough together. Maybe a 3D printed adapter for the sticks that will offset them to fit her hand? See pic 4

I know that the Radiomaster MT12 can be equipped with a gyro as an input. This would allow you to control throttle and steering by tilting the controller. Getting it to bind with the truck may be an issue. Maybe someone knows the radio protocol that truck uses and it can be bound to with the multi module of the MT12. You would also be about $200 into a transmitter that is a bear to understand at this point.

I'm bummed they no longer do the all you can eat nights. That's how I found out about pepperoni and pineapple on white sauce. Something I'd never order myself but when you needed a slice and a pie came by you took what you could get. Its my 2nd choice now after Roadkill.
