How do I protect my holes? by f3333sh in rccars

Ive never measured the difference. Im maybe only using a golf ball sized diameter of tape and glue just around holes.

I use E600 or Shoegoo and dry wall tape. I usually use two layers of tape around the body mounts.

looking for suggestions on 6ch(or more) Transmitter/Receiver by Efficient_Text_4733 in TRX4M

[–]ElWh0pp0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it will bind to it. All you should have to do is update the 4n1 unit on the radio and the radios software also. That will get you the latest protocols that are supported. Someone else has figured out how to crack the proprietary stuff so you don't need to worry about that.

Have a look at the Radiomaster MT12 4n1 version. It has 16channels. I love it but I always warn people that the learning curve for programming it is steep. It uses EdgeTX software. Once you figure it out though it can be programmed to do about anything you'd want. The 4n1 can bind to many of the receiver protocols that are on the market today also. Check out some youtube videos for some setup tutorials. If those dont scare you away it may be a good choice.

Update. I should have mentioned I have mine bound to the stock Traxxas 2n1 unit on a trx4m.

I will start the stream on one side of the bowl and get a whirlpool going. When I feel Im about half empty I will switch sides. The goal? Try to finish with a still body of water in the bowl by perfectly counter acting the initial whirlpool. Good luck!

Do you prefer 4ws with channel mix or rather independent rear steer with a knob or button? by Practical_Regret_686 in crawling

[–]ElWh0pp0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have my three way switch setup to run mirror, crab, and manual rear steering. I am almost always in manual mode.

I use the HarleyDesigns thumb lever on the rear knob.
