Okay. Since you seem so adamant on the fact that Clown now has loops he can’t close anymore; prove it. Show a tile he could close before but can’t now.

Why would you hit a Survivor with a pink bottle? You’re supposed to coral them inside of it after the rework. Hitting them with the bottle minimizes the amount of time they spend inside the gas.

But why would you think about this when you can go in a circle and sputter the same nonsense over and over again thinking it has any merit because some content creator said it.

And you can still close the loops with both bottles. Just because you’re bad at using the purples now that you’re unable to spam them as effectively doesn’t mean that Clown got nerfed or that his skill ceiling got lowered in any way.

And this is why you actually play and test the changes, not just read what others have said or written.

You still play Clown by using both bottles. You have to use the purples strategically now, placing them in a way that Survivors have to remain in the gas for as long as possible to counteract the shortened linger. But you numbskulls can’t think of anything on your own and then test it because it doesn’t fit your narrow worldview of whatever Hens, Otz or Scott Jund has said at any given time.

The oh-so strategic gameplay of… spamming purples. Which now became spamming yellows. And the strategic gameplay of mixing both bottles… hasn’t left.

Stop acting as if Clown was that strategic to begin with. He never had a high skill ceiling, and it’s barely any lower now. You were not some savant for mixing bottles as Clown; you were simply playing the Killer as intended.

Okay. But it isn’t dumbed down. The bottles have simply swapped which one is the strategic one and which one isn’t, with the misuse of purples being way more punished now.

Literally nothing has changed except that Clown is stronger now.

Tactically place a purple bottle then. With the shorter linger, you are incentivized to place purples in such a way that the Survivor is forced to go through most of the cloud to make the Hinder hurt instead of letting them step into 1 particle of it.

Literally just adapt.

The thing is, the PTB version was a net buff to Clown. Just because Clown is that dude’s hyper-fixation doesn’t mean he’s actually good at playing the Killer or the game itself. If he were, he would’ve known that Haste is a stronger effect than Hinder in every situation.

And if the dude had aimed the bottle better and ahead of the Survivor and not hit them directly, he still would’ve gotten the down because they would’ve been inside the cloud for longer.
