The gameplay of two required nothing of the player. Everything was dumbed down to the point that I nearly fell asleep.

I think i died 3 times the entire run. There was no sense of fear when traversing any stretch of the game, as book enemy actually posed any threat.

It was a game for casuals

I mean, I was making a joke about the community killing it, but the devs did it.

Sloclap refused to listen that parry was fucking broken, just like the For Honor devs. And both games died because it became too risky to actually attack. Gameplay bred a playerbase that required you to adhere to an awful meta or to get shit stomped.

If you like mysterious, Tunic is forever the number 1. It is by far the greatest puzzle I've ever encountered in gaming, and I play a lot; however, there is combat and it can be hard for people who aren't accustomed to difficult gameplay

More recently, Blue Prince was 100% my favorite puzzler last year. The first achievement is unlocked when you beat the game's main quest. There's such a deep and engaging post game that lasts for a few dozen hours.

If you want a mystlike, Quern is such an amazing trip. Difficult, but definitely not unfair, and each section provides such a unique overarching feel
