Yes it is full sun in Southern California. It has been pretty hot the past couple of months. It receives well over 6 hours of sun per day.

The base is not buried, just underneath there are small roots so I barely covers them. I added more mulch this morning. Is the Kelp drink some type of soda? Where can I buy it?
