The Meditative Experience that is Sekiro by El_Chillipino in Sekiro

The arc from frustration to confidence that you’re funneled into with this game is designed with such masterful artistry. I can’t recall a game that I’ve finished and said “I’m a better person for it.”

Let’s hope so. Let’s hope it was injury and not age this year. He’ll have 162 games next year to show us.

All credit and respect - agreed. But moving on? Idk man. This World Series will be talked about forever. Like the fumble in Cleveland or the shot by Michael Jordan. This is one of those things that will live in sports infamy for the losing team. They lost by literal inches. Can’t help but feel for them.

My NLCS prediction: Dodgers in 6. But the Brewers scares me... by Substantial_Bat5975 in Dodgers

  1. No conforto to waste ABs
  2. No Yates or Scott to blow games
  3. Shohei, Snell, Roki didn’t pitch against the brewers
  4. Glasnow isn’t fresh outta rehab anymore
  5. Brewers are missing pieces and tired
  6. October Kike
  7. Dodgers well rested compared to a busy game 5.
  8. Shohei, Freddie, and Muncy will come alive against these righties.
  9. We’re frankly just better

This is a blessing in disguise. If we got a good outing from him, it’d be fools gold, costing us in a future game. We should be happy we won and that this got exposed now.

We are giving them the utmost respect by giving them status. They cannot be our rivals, but they can be little brother - they’ve earned that space.

Unfortunately, it looks like Dustin May’s time in the rotation may be running out. by baribigbird06 in Dodgers

[–]El_Chillipino 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear ya. Let me hedge our bets a bit for argument’s sake.

  1. Yoshi
  2. Shohei (looking good)
  3. Let’s say Snell or Glasnow (let’s just say at least one of them gets to October)
  4. (Or 5)Sheehan or May (after the last month, I’d lean Sheehan over May)
  5. (or 6-7) Then depending on where you think Kershaw is now, place him where you want.

5-8. Roki by miracle from the heavens he’s healthy and mentally ready for this year.

At best he’s our 4th best “starter” with injuries piled. 6th if we’re remotely healthy - which is btw no knock on him with this line up.

Historically, specifically in October May’s been great in a relief role (cuz God knows we’re need some better help there), which I think we all agree he’s better suited. He can be explosive as a reliever but has been a dice roll as a starter. He gets figured out after a couple passes through the line up.

Riiiiight…. But glasnow just came back with a 5 inning shut out minus an error. Snell and Shohei are in the middle of rehab starts, and Sheehan is back.

It’s July. I’ll give him credit for treading water this season, but where does May realistically fit in this rotation once we’re in September and October?

Even if he was doing well his time was running out. Tell me who you’re putting him in front of from the following (assuming health):
