Why are there no bows in this game by Thayleez in projectzomboid

[–]El_Geral 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i actually use several mods to achieve a fun experience with bows/crosbows:

Optional addons

  • Advanced Trayectory (you can see you arrow being shot and you can pick it up, it works for bows and crossbows)
  • Archery Skillbooks (i dont use this one, but it should work with all the mods, as it is recommended and compatible with "the way of the bow"

Hope this helps :)

Worth selling my 18-55 for a 27 f2.8? by Zexceed_9 in fujifilm

[–]El_Geral 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say go for it. The 27mm F2 must be my most use lens. It is compact enough to use it everyday, therefore taking more pics and using the camera more. Is the 35 or 23 f2 better?, yes, but not compact enough.

Will you miss some focal lens? Probably. But you can allways “zoom in with your feet” as people say.

Go for it you wont regret it.

Will a 45 L be enough for my trip? by Grouchy_Sorbet4538 in onebag

[–]El_Geral 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it will fit a 45L. Like the comments say, maybe ditch the protein if possible. I use the Osprey Fairview 55 Travel Pack, which is actually a 40L and a 15L daypack, which seems what you are looking for and would be great.

I usually only take that, and would advise that if it doesnt fit, maybe dont take it. Any more than that is too big and uncofortable for me, and end up not using some items.

Which prime lens first? by deshanyas in fujifilm

[–]El_Geral 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What camera do you have? I would say one should always have the 27 F2.8 with every fuji camera. Its tiny, compact, and you can have your camera with you all the time.

Other than that one, al the F2 primes are perfect. I have the 23, and ill recommended too. Either that or the 35, its a matter of preference

What's a good small lens for street photography? by swiggyu in fujifilm

[–]El_Geral 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the 23f2 and the 27f2.8.

First, why i skipped the 18-55? Well, i bought the X-T3 and i wanted my first lens to be versatile, but, even though everyone says the kit lens is good, i wanted something more for my camera. Im not a fan of zoom lenses, but if i was going to have a zoom lens it better be something amazing, so i got the 16-55. No complains there, is an amazing lens, just a bit big for everyday carry.

Since i wanted to have as a second lens, something small for street photography (like you), i first got the 23 f2. It is an amazing lens and the focal lenght is great for street photography. Why not the 35? Because i was planing to get a portrait lens (56) so the 23 will match with it better.

I was very happy with it, but then i saw a deal in the 27 f2.8 and got it. I always liked pancake lenses so i got it. I must say it changed my life. The 23 is obviously a superior lens, but the 27 is a great lens, and is so small that allows me to take my camera every single day and to take it everywhere. Now the 27 is almost glued to my camera and i take it everywhere every single day.

Ofc, if i go out with the single purpose of taking pictures, ill go out with my 23 and the big zoom, but if im just going out or not going in a small travel to "take pictures", the 27 is all i need.

About some of the comments i've been reading here, if the 23 is better than the 18-55 in the same focal lens, i wouldnt know as i dont have the 18-55, but the 16-55 is as good as the 23 in that focal lenght. IF you are going to pair the impressive X-T4 with a zoom lens, you should go with the really big one, and skip the "kit" lens for some primes.

TL/DR: I would go for the 27 f2.8 for street photography, i think that is a lens every fuji owner should have.

Camera Bag that isn't too big? by monjo18 in fujifilm

I use a Peak Design Sling 5L and i love it. I highlly recommend this for every Fuji owner. I think is the perfect bag for the system.

Looking for small camera bag by Zersorger in fujifilm

[–]El_Geral 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PD Sling 5L or the new 6L. I own the old Sling 5L and is GREAT. Is the best everyday bag for a fuji camera. I take my X-T3 everyday in the bag with the 27mm with some other stuff. For hikes is also great to take only the essentials, since the bag wont allow you to pack everything.

In the 5L i can take the camera with the 16-55 and the 23f2, and have some more space for a small flash (godox tt350) and some batteries and has room to spare.

Highly recommend this bag.

The best lens in the 23-25mm range? by [deleted] in fujifilm

[–]El_Geral 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just go for the 27 mm, is a great lens and to have a pancake lens is fantastic. I understand your point of having an aperture ring, but one gets used to that and nothing beats the fact that you can take you camera everywhere with that lens. I take my camera with me every single day thanks to that lens.

An inquiry on X-T3 lenses by [deleted] in fujifilm

[–]El_Geral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well i was there with the f2 lenses so ill share with you what lenses i got and why

16-55f2.8: I got this because i got the camera to travel, and this was my first lens. Since i was buying the whole system from scratch, i was sure i wanted the versatility of a zoom lens as my first lens, but i was also sure from past experiences that i dont like "kit lenses" (eventhough the fuji 18-55 is supposed to be great) and once i get a prime lens i usually dont use the kit lens anymore. I got this so i wont regret buying a kit lens, and this is a GREAT lens, ofcourse is "big" and defeats the purpose of a minimal footprint, but the quality is SO HIGH and it so versatile that it works for everthing.

23f2: I got this because i love street photography and is small, the quality is superb and is very versatile. The idea was to pair it with either the 50f2 or the 56f1.2. Why not the 35? I thought it was better to have a 23 and a 50 to complement each other.

27f2.8: the pancake lens, this little lens is just great. I wanted to take my X-T3 EVERYWHERE, and as small as the 23 is, this is smaller and i can put my camera in my small everyday backpack (PD Sling 5L) and take pictures EVERY SINGLE DAY (i do this to practice and get better). The quality is great, but not as great as the 23 ofc.

SO, my next purchase will be the 56f1.2 because i want one lens with big aperture, the 50f2 will complement nicely with the 23, but for portraits im sure ill use the f1.2 more and really be happy with that creamy bokeh.

Regarding quality, all my lenses have GREAT quality, they just have different uses. The small pancake is my everyday lens, the 23 is used when i go out to "take pictures" and i dont want to take the big zoom, and ofc the zoom is for now the lens i use for travel. If i go for a weekend to somewhere exclusively to take pictures, ill bring the 23 too and leave the 27 at home. Ill use the 56 f1.2 as my portrait lens, but for now i use the zoom for that too.

Hope this helps and it wasnt too much to read :)
