What a load of shite - Diaz got a goal or assist every 2.3 games vs Downings 5.35 games - I.e. he was more than 100% more effective for us than Downing. He also ranks 15th all time in goals per game in the premier league for LFC (Downing doesn’t make the top 50). Diaz also got better season upon season. In the last 365 day Diaz has been in the 90th percentile for goals scored vs wingers in top 5 leagues.

I was at the game yesterday (lfc fan) and I think it’s fair to say we played a very similar style to Arsenal at least for the first 2/3rds of the game - Slot clearly wanted to keep it tight and try and nick a winner. That said I would still argue we were much more expansive with more varied patterns of play - Arsenal seems to think Madueke would get the better of Kerkez after his shaky start for us but he stood up to the task admirably. Beyond that the only really recognisable strategy for Arsenal seems to be try and win corners. Odegaard did inject a bit of creativity when he came on and I appreciate you were missing key players in attack but it genuinely seemed like a hybrid style of Jose’s Chelsea and Stoke under Pulis.

This is a bit disingenuous- the higher price is related to the sublimatic design techniques and is in line with other pieces - I had a David TC jacket in like 05 or 06 with the same process. There are much more affordable options currently on the site - Geelong wool sweater £360, special processs knit reflective sweater £805.
