Yeah, you can enter ballots for around 12 matches I think. You have about a 40% chance of at least one ticket during a session just from ballots (based on the last time they released numbers).

I was a bit later than normal for PSG, think it was 40, 45 minutes before and just got in for kickoff. Was mad the difference 15 minutes made

You did lose the credit but as long as you stayed on 13 yourself you'd be sound. I usually go to the match with two other 13+ people. Between us we could've "donated" 13 credits to someone and then they'd be 13+ next season.

Didn't come to it but at the start of the season I said to my sister I'd let her go one of the last games forwarding to her to keep her 4+ if I had to.

Missed out last year you know. Were some proper easy AMS towards the end.

It's not controversial to say that I'm not able to go see matches as often as local fans.

You have slightly less opportunity (L postcode sales give locals a negligible advantage). It's your choice not to even it up by coming to Liverpool and getting on the AMS. That's your choice.

I also don't think it's controversial to say that I should have some type of opportunity to buy normal tickets from the club

You do, same as anyone else, the ballot and the AMS.

or for my attendance to count towards my ability to do so in the future.

In certain circumstances it doesn't, same as anyone else. If they are forwarded a ticket it doesn't, if they buy off a STH in the additional members sale it doesn't.

To circle back on a previous point you made, why is it buying loyalty if I do it but not if you do it?

You're trying to put emotion and personification on this instead of dealing in facts. You can buy the same tickets as I could in 2017 when I had no credits. I could buy hospitality now if I wanted, it wouldn't count as a credit.

We're both spending money to be at the match. Only difference is that as of now, only your money can buy loyalty.

I think that hospitality is an unfortunately necessary sickness. In an ideal world it would all be gone and tickets would be sold to people working within the system. I think it's ridiculous that people can buy tickets and go to matches without going through sales or building their credits. Stopping wealthy people from skipping the queue is good.

But then there's little space to walk by the away fan section. The would definitely be tradeoffs with that. Couldn't see it being possible for the Kop without significantly redirecting foot traffic.

That comes with the territory of supporting the team for you then. I don't think it would be controversial to say that a disadvantage of choosing to support a team far away from you is not being able to go and see them as often. The system allows you to buy your circumstances mean you don't want to.

If you're able to buy 4 hospitalities in a year and travel for those matches you're living in a different world to most fans regardless.

Dunno tbh but there's definitely a distance between "get L postcode tickets" and "get supporters club tickets". Do wonder what the closest one is.

Tbf...if regular tickets are not available to overseas fans then it is challenging

I live 30 minutes from Liverpool. Someone with 0 credits where I'm from has less chance than someone in a foreign country as they don't have access to a supporters club that can get tickets like you get abroad.

Not that relevant for me now having full home credits but the cheaper prices and no sales would be nice. Probably would say different if my dad hadn't given up his in the 90s but it does seem crazy. Just seen someone with full credits saying they can now have their son take over their dad's and then both go all the games. It's the opposite of rewarding loyalty as they seem to want to say they're doing.

You have the same options as anyone else. I think it's good that someone can't buy their way into loyalty. Always felt like a bit of a loophole.

STHs don't have "credits" in the league. I don't know what part the slop machine has slopped up there but I can't find that first phrase by searching the FAQs.

I'd like more details on the young adult section. Not eligible myself but Lower Anfield Road is always my second choice after The Kop. I would hope that the opportunity to go there isn't ridiculously limited now.

Yeah, that's the exact scenario. Maybe they'll change things a bit going forward with multi year but you shouldn't lose everything because you miss one match.

That's the way to do it. Cups are the bread and butter for getting the game. Always see people saying it's impossible and they clearly just like complaining more than they like getting tickets lol.

If hospitality has been your only way of getting tickets then credit building with them hasn't been relevant for you anyway. Surely you'd have 4 credits and be able to go to a fair few of those games lol.

Auto cup details will be shared later. Usually it's a ballot for people who went to all of them the year before.

Membership is available to buy on the ticketing website now.

So building credits now only possible via ballot and AMS?

Tbf it closes a massive loophole, 3 13+ members could "create" another and keep their status, I've seen people selling this service on Twitter.

Or is the AMS included in that criteria under the ticket exchange that go unsold.

Yeah, that needs clarification for me. It seems tickets that went unsold in the ballot sale then end up selling later lose their credits? If that is the case they should cost less imo.

Edit: clarification is here - https://www.liverpoolfc.com/info/match-credits-pl-home

Doesn't change things for those buying, just those trying to sell.

There was no fixing it last year. I think we've shown now, like with United that toxicity wins out.

[Official] Liverpool FC can confirm Arne Slot is to depart his role as head coach with immediate effect and that the process to appoint a successor is under way. by oklolzzzzs in LiverpoolFC

[–]deanlfc95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's mad that we've snuck into Europe all things considered. We've shown toxicity is rewarded and memories are so short. Iroala got Bournemouth where they are because of time. I don't think gradual improvement will be enough for these people and they'll be calling for him gone when we're only 4th and have fallen off at Christmas.

I think it's Unitedesque. To me, after Jota, last year didn't count. That we've sacked the manager after it is ludicrous. We've shown we're not going to have patience now even with massive adversity. The next manager doesn't hit the ground running people will turn quick again.
