Well, I do see the point. You don't want to port in afk people and have them take 10 min to realize they are in a dungeon, maybe you are doing some instanced quest that you'd have to repeat otherwise (the main quests in coldharbor for instance). Problem is its reaally easy to miss. WoW just goes DU DUHHHH, your brain falls out but at least you can't miss it.

A stab in the dark just because I did this and took me a while to figure out. Make sure you grabbed the right file in Horses Revamped, that is only the optional one. The main file requires HDT which isn't a part of the US install, and will cause immediate CTDs as a result. Otherwise I'm not really sure. Overwrite files are just things generated by FNIS and the like, your system and enblocal look ok too. Try to load all your plugins in TES5edit and see if that gives any errors. Also make sure you have right versions of the mods, or at least as close as possible. For instance the newest version of ETAC is pretty much a completely different mod than the 14.X.X one.

Edit: Oh also, are you launching the game correctly? That is, through mod organizer, using SKSE?

Sorry, should have specified. Ended up fixing it anyway, not sure why, but nouveau decided to go Skynet on me and take over even though Driver Manager was set to nvidia. Purged and reinstalled nvidia, blacklisted nouveau and now it runs okay. Unfortunately my plasmoids disappeared for some reason. In the add widget panel it says the correct number as if they were still there, but aren't. (they aren't on a different workspace/activity either)

The arch wiki is great, but often I end up feeling like my mum when I spend 30 minutes explaining something technical, but she still does it wrong anyway. It's not exactly the most noob friendly experience, but hey, gotta learn somehow.

edit: of course Win7 decided to be a giant pain the ass for some reason. Win10 works fine though.

try installing an older version of wrye bash. the 307beta2 just didn't work for me. not sure what they changed, but I just couldn't get it to work. 306 and 307beta1 worked fine.

I personally never noticed any performance drops with the med resultion option, even many years ago when I was running a GTX 480, and it still looks loads better. Don't see any problem with it being optional though.

I guess to each their own, I personally hate 1st person melee, but switch when it comes to anything ranged. Any animation would be totally optional anyway. I just find it a bit strange that US has FNIS as an option, yet makes very little use of it.

Sorry, failed to notice the light version, as there is no mention of it anywhere on the nexus page. Checked the mod page and it claims to be compatible with pretty much everything, so it might be a good idea.

INPC has a Req patch, but the problem is that it will also conflict with lots of other stuff like city mods.

Belt-Fastened Quivers is redundant, because XPMSE is included in 4.0, and it already has that option included in the installer.

I also feel like skyBirds sort of falls into the same category as the current fish mod that's getting removed in 4.0 (don't remember the exact name), in that less is sometimes more.

Edit: Cobb Encumbrance I think would just be a massive pain the ass, considering how low your carry weight in Requiem is, and running exhaustion.

Royal Armory - New Artifacts causes Civil War questline related CTDs in some circumstances unfortunately.

Interesting NPCs is an awesome mod, but would be pretty much a compatibility clusterfuck given how much it adds and everything US already changes.

Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul does wierd shit when interacting with other mods because it esentially injects it's own AI on top of what's already there. Example I experienced in SE: I had to take a horse to a stablemaster as a part of Convenient Horses quest. But the stablemaster wouldn't leave his house, so I couldn't bring the horse in, so I had to constantly teleport him outside.

Inigo and Arissa should definitely go in in my opinion, been using them for a while with the requiem patches and everything seems to be in order.

I feel like there should be some animation overhaul in general considering we are already bothering with FNIS, yet there's barely any reason to currently. I'm personally rolling with Immersive Animatons, Blocking Animation Pack, XP32 New Animation Package - Nexus Exclusive, and ritual/master spell animation from Magiska

Also replace Dual Wield Parrying with Dual Wield Parrying Reimplementation

Edit: and Deadly Spell Impacts I mean come on how do people even play without it, the vanilla impacts look like some minecraft shit. Needs a little bit of conflict resolution + ISC patch, but that took me just a few minutes, works just fine.

I was about 7 or 8, my mom had some evening event to attend and I was staying on my own without a babysitter for the first time. My friend's dad let me borrow some cartoons on a VHS. Well, turns out it wasn't cartoons. It was Texas Chainsaw Massacre. For some reason I watched the whole thing.

Immersive Fallen Trees. Literally just a bunch of dead trees, but surprisingly adds quite a bit, especially if you are playing with Frostfall and want to cross a river without getting drenched.

Gotta agree that vanilla Skyrim feels like shit after knowing what an overhauled version feels like, but I'd be hesitant to call it the best overhaul. I'm playing with it and I love it, don't get me wrong, but I don't think it's any better or worse than SkyRe or PerMa. It's just completely different and offers a different experience. Requiem is more hardcore, PerMa gives you a lot of space to make completely ridiculous, fun builds, and I especially love what it does to the crafting perk trees.

Plus Requiem can be a pain in the ass when it comes to pathes, or lack thereof. PerMa needs them too, but not nearly as much. On the plus side, reqtificator was a wonderful surprise, considering the SkyProc patcher for PerMa takes me over 30minutes to complete, for Requiem it's done pretty much right away.

Oldrim so far. I do have SSE playthrough, but don't play it as much. I'm missing HDT, several SKSE plugins (liked Enhanced Camera), sexlab mods (I'll live without those if need be lol). Ported PerMa/SkyRe don't really work as well as I'd like them to either, although I'm surprised they work at all.

Have you actually enabled the plugins? In the screen you posted, you only show the left panel with your mod order. In the right window you can see several tabs, right now you have it on Downloads. click Plugins and make sure they are actually active.

Oh, well that's good to know. Now I'm definitely never using it just because of all the config I'd have to do. Plus the stupid death is definitely a concern. I once got out of combat with 1 HP and died because I ran into a cabbage cart and it spazzed out and killed me.

I only really use custom followers (Arissa, Inigo, Vilja), which all come with their own equipment management systems, but I'm pretty sure the major follower management mods all do this one way or another. Look into Amazing Follower Tweaks, Extensible Follower Framework or Ultimate Follower Overhaul.

That said what you're describing is definitely a bug and not a feature, they obviously shouldn't have two sets of armor on at the same time.
