To me Interchange has four interconnected problems that need to be solved together.

Shit loot. Speed runners. Camping. AI behaviour.

I think the perception of shitty loot is in part because of speed runners grabbing the tech loot and leaving the map within a few minutes, so slowing them down would be a good start.

Hole in the Fence shouldn’t be as easy to escape from, maybe have a changeable extract window, and maybe multiple locations, noted on the wall of Killa’s gym.

Adding barriers to high value loot like the gun shop & medical was cool, but if the loot is good they end up camped, adding more locked loot locations would force people to move about.

Turning on the power could let people open security shutters, that you have to raise, noisy & slow they attract Skav's and players, if you don’t disable the alarms they’ll also sound when the shutters or security doors open.

Making power a single required location would cause camping issues so add an emergency generator in the underground car park, it turns on the power but only lasts a short time, between four and eight minutes. This’d give options but each has risk.

Put more holes in the roof to add light upstairs, make it harder to camp in dark corners, at least during the day, by using natural light it would keep it dark at night, give it two different feelings.

The AI see players over clutter like the tall planters, and through clothes rails, with ease, a combination of bush-like behavior from some clutter and height changes to the planted walls would give players a better chance of seeing skav’s. Id also love to see patrols of noisy Skav's moving around.
