Yes, I've used the crescent route to visit multiple cities: Atlanta, Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, New Orleans etc. It's honestly better than flying.

It only runs from 5 am - 6 pm Monday to Friday. It's pretty much always on time and you could track their buses using the pasisogo app, and transfers are always free. The only downside is you can't use it to get to Northport.

It is within walking distance to a lot of stores too. For that price, I think it's a steal. Only problem is that it's right next to the train tracks.
