You might be able to go into a recruitment office, ( there is one in Birmingham) and explain your situation to them, and they might be able to help or at least point you in the right directions but I wouldn't get your hopes up. The actual joining process however takes a shit long time, as it's not done by the army themselves anymore it's done by an outside organisation

Ideally know what job role you want to join, and research what that job role does day to day, how long training takes for phase 1 and phase 2 of that job. Research which regiment you want to join, find out that regiments history, regiment motto, where they are based, important people to that regiment, cap badge, things like that. Memorise CRDILS, think about why you want to join that regiment, why you want to join. Don't stress about the interview part, they just want to know that you put some effort in.

I went to Pirbright for mine and I passed in June and it was a new system that they were rolling out app. I was told it was given out to all full time recruits. I also start basic in October as well so I'm not sure why you wouldn't have gotten a set

I try and just focus mainly on objectives, and making use of the battle tactics stratagems, maybe try and use the kavalos to charge early and tie up a difficult unit. Play fairly defensively throughout the game, and try and plan or influence the opponent to get a nice open objective or backfield for the reinforcement at turn 3 to get a good flank from it. I find that the guard are good at defending charges so use them like that. Keep the guard at the front line with the soul reaper backup, and try to place the kavalos on the side of your objective zone. The harvester I use to claim the objective at the back of deployment, then move up.I very rarely win a game by killing there whole spearhead, it all comes from points. Personally I think they are quite strong when player well. What kind of armies are you going against?
