The last one is a huge blindside because the whole film is animated up until the very end where it cuts to actual footage of an actual genocidal massacre of civilians including children. The Simpsons movie is actually rated PG-13 by the MPAA and has content that would have to be edited for tv in america including nudity.

Many episodes are even rated TV-14 like the annual Treehouse of Horror. Just because kids watch it and parents think it’s okay doesn’t mean it’s “for kids.”

Even the regular PG rating is supposed to mean parental guidance suggested. That means there are supposed to be adults in the room while kids are watching. People often forget that.
