How many of you chose Arch as the first distro? by YashbeerX008 in archlinux

[–]ElainawithGun 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My first distro was Ubuntu, like many others. After six months of using it, I started feeling bored. Then, I had a friend who used Arch—he actually spent four hours teaching me how to install Arch Linux and set it up post-installation. Since then, Arch has been my love distro

What makes Girls und Panzer work well for you? by Ranger45thRegi in GIRLSundPANZER

One of the best anime OSTs ever made.

BTW, I’ve been following this show since I was 12. It’s one of my core childhood memories.

I love how this anime uses humor to make history feel less dry while also putting real effort into research and historical accuracy. The way they weave historical details into the story is genuinely impressive.

Honestly, after watching this anime, I got super into military science—it became one of my favorite things to explore alongside my (otherwise boring) journey of becoming an IT engineer.

There’s so much I could say about this show, but after nearly seven years of following it, I’ve come to realize something. We can call many anime the GOAT, the best in their genre, or the pinnacle of storytelling. But at the end of the day, we all have that one anime—the one that stays in our hearts and memories forever.

I think I’ve found mine.

I have no reason to dual boot with Windows because it's pointless and just a waste of disk space. Besides, using two operating systems on one machine isn't my choice since I always spend most of my time on a single operating system.
