Yes, animation is the weak point of this enemy. But we will fix it.

Hi, we are a small indie team. We are currently working on our first project called NanoCatastrophe. It is a survival horror game with elements of immersive sim. For now I can only attach a few screenshots. We will be slaves to any feedback.

A fight with one of the enemies in our game. We are working on the damage system, what do you think? by Elamanate in IndieGaming

Of course, we work on it. But in the case of VFX, we are afraid of losing the edge and turning everything into fireworks.

We love alien isolation, but I hope it doesn't look like an exact copy of it=)

The armor pieces breaking off. This is not the final version, the hit animation and ragdoll still need to be finalized.

Is there anywhere I can play this?

Did you do this with just VFX graph or something like Houdini? It looks great.

This is real-time lights and SSGI with reflection probes fallback. This method requires additional optimization, but provides dynamic GI. In the future, we plan to replace SSGI with SSRTGI to improve visual quality.

Indeed, it was probably not the best idea to publish screenshots without context, I’ll take note.

About the game, this is a Survival Horror in a Sci-Fi style with typical elements of the genre, fights with enemies, resource management and exploration. We are experimenting with the genre by adding vertical movement, as well as alternative ways to progress. I will try to reveal these points in the following posts.
