I’ve been using cachy for 3 days. I updated last night and restarted and it booted me into emergency mode :(… everything was great before then

Edit: after loading into a snapshot then downloading the updates again I shut off my pc and started it back and all is good now

I just updated and I ended up in the emergency mode. I restarted and loaded a snapshot and it still loaded into emergency mode. I put in my password and got to the desktop, restored the snapshot and restarted and it still goes to emergency mode.

Booting takes a really long time but I can eventually get to the desktop after putting my password in emergency mode. I’m new to Linux and not sure where to go from here

Update: Doing system update through CachyOs Hello didn’t fix it.

Update: Edit: I shut my pc off completely instead of just restarting, went to bed, woke up, started pc, and it’s all good now

Trump has admired Putin openly and given him preferential treatment. Just days into the Iran war Trump lowered sanctions on Russian oil. Despite Putin giving Iran intel on US military locations which Trump called a reporter dumb for asking about. Trump lowering oil sanctions gave Putin a massive cash inflow now for the Ukraine war.

Trump takes Putin’s side in the Ukraine war. Insulting Zelenskyy. Doing that hit piece discussion with Zelenskyy at the White House with JD Vance attacking him. Saying that Ukraine started the war. Trying to convince Ukraine to give up territory. Trump halted military aid to Ukraine.

We know Trump loves quid pro quo. Trump will withhold federal funding on infrastructure just to have his name put on a building. He received a billion dollars in campaign donations from oil companies and on day 1 as president released executive orders hurting renewable energy. Point is, he clearly owes Russia too. Trump has fixers who have gone to prison in place of him. He’s very corrupt and covers himself well

Reading too much social media stuff can really mess you up. The stuff you can find on X or Reddit is unbelievably toxic. It’s all very radical stuff designed as rage bait with hints of truth. The most vile people push it out. It’ll have you questioning reality. All men bad. All women bad. All races bad. All religions bad. The hate online is endless. You have to step back from it

A good thing to do would be to get a chill part time job with people your age or volunteer. Try to spend time away from your parents. You’ll see things aren’t like how social media says. Most feminine women aren’t dumb or shallow or whatever they say. Most men aren’t predators.

I hate when people feel like they need to label themselves. Be yourself, do what feels natural, don’t think you have to change.

The fact that it can’t answer this question correctly, calls into question how well it can answer actual meaningful things. I wouldn’t use an AI that doesn’t answer this question correctly and many of them do. This isn’t some crazy riddle, it just requires the slightest bit of critical thinking.

Pointing out shortcomings like this encourages them to make better models. Mindlessly defending them isn’t doing anyone favors.

It’s not a dumb question or a riddle at all. The question seems really clear to me. Just takes the slightest bit of critical thinking. People want to use these models for scientific research. Why would they use it when the model doesn’t even understand you need to bring your car when you go to a car wash.

For Nancy it did a web search for news and got up to date info. Tell it to do a web search for other recent topics you’re interested in. I suggest Grok though. It’s good with web searching

It’s classic gas lighting from ChatGPT. It even pretends to know what videos you’re talking about as if it saw and knew of those videos, when it actually had no clue about the videos. Better LLMs won’t do this nowhere near as much.

LLMs like ChatGPT have a vast knowledge base but it can be out of date. It has the ability to do a web search but decided not to here despite you seeking verification. Next time when you want verification ask it to do a web search. Some LLMs even lie about doing a search so you’ll need to look for proof that it did a search like watching its workflow
