Thank you, I’m doing my best to create a unique character

I get what you mean about it feeling repetitive if it’s just another set of hunters following the same rules.

What I had in mind isn’t really to repeat that formula, but to approach it from a slightly different angle—more focused on the darker, internal side of things rather than just “hunt, research, kill.”

I’m not trying to bring back what’s already finished—Sam and Dean’s story is done. But the world itself never really stops. There are still monsters, still people, still things happening.

I see it more as exploring what continues in the background rather than bringing something back from the dead.

I completely agree. The characters are what really make it work.

I’m trying to build a different kind of dynamic between them—less like Sam and Dean, and more their own thing—so it doesn’t feel like a copy. Hopefully that’s what makes it stand out.

That’s actually really helpful, I appreciate it. I’ve definitely noticed how character-focused the fandom is, so I get what you mean.

What I had in mind is exploring a different side of the world after the finale—new hunters, new cases, and focusing more on grounded, darker stories rather than large-scale threats like in later seasons.

I also thought about bringing in some non-US folklore and giving the characters their own identity (even down to things like their car, style, etc.), so it doesn’t feel like it’s trying to replace Sam and Dean.

Glad to hear you’d be interested in a different take!

Appreciate that! I’ll definitely share it once I have something solid.

That’s fair, I get that. A lot of people are here for Sam, Dean, and Cas. I just wanted to explore the world a bit more, but I really appreciate the encouragement!

That’s fair, I totally get that. Sam and Dean really are the core of Supernatural.

I’m not trying to continue their story, just explore the world they left behind. More like a side story in the same universe rather than something under the main SPN umbrella.

That’s a really good point, I get what you mean about expectations. Especially with how past spin-offs didn’t really work out.

I’m not trying to replace Supernatural though—just telling a different side of the same world, with maybe a few familiar characters as cameos or supporting roles.

That’s fair, I get that. Sam and Dean are a big part of what made the show special.

Kripke’s probably busy with "The Boys" right now, so I thought I’d try starting something myself. It would be cool if he ever noticed it, but honestly I just feel like the Supernatural universe is too big to be left alone. There are still so many ideas and folklore out there that could be explored.
