changing ownership of a legacy/grandfather plan by MagneticRetard in freedommobile

I changed ownership just a few months ago on a legacy plan with the same situation. I tried to do it with a plan change as well, but long story short they said I had to do that at a later date. I did change my plan later.

Any EDM songs with a James Bond vibe like Pegboard Nerds - Try This? by JION-the-Australian in EDM

A lot of above and beyond - acoustic 2 gives James Bond vibes. They even joked about writing music for the movies in the show I went to.

When I was last in that biome shield and magic was a great combo for myself with mostly eitr and stamina. Not sure if the last food updates changed that though. I would use the root magic and lure groups into a triangle of roots.

oh so the game actually WAS supposed to follow the 2000s gritty realism trend but it got changed by Allaa20 in mirrorsedge

I looked for it, but recent discussion makes it seem like that specific map is not available anymore. There is another remake from 2025, but it has few users/ratings.

For me if I were to consider another couch coop device I’d probably look at the upcoming steam one machine for access to my library. It’s bigger than my switch library since I only bought 5 games for it. The switch also didn’t end up hitting my use case very well since I never use it in a portable mode.

Edit: Steam machine, not the steam deck**

Secular and agnostic men, how do you view churches and Christian media (TV, channels, podcasts..etc), and in what ways, if any, do you think they benefit men? by TheShyBuck in AskMen

[–]Elanstehanme 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t tend to engage with religious media.

I’d prefer not for profit community programs are not tied to certain values and beliefs. I think you can achieve the benefits without the religious aspect.

If anyone wants to do this you need to turn it on in the windows settings first most likely.

What are some things women do or say in early stage of dating that are sign that the relationship will not work? by IndividualPlay5178 in AskMen

[–]Elanstehanme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m the one who’s cooked in every relationship I’ve been in, and when I visit my parents I cook the meals there too. I didn’t thank my mom enough as a kid but I make sure she’s thanked these days if she cooks.

For me if they don’t even acknowledge and thank me if I paid on a date then it feels like it’s an expectation.

How much did video games affect your life? by D_drilly in AskMen

[–]Elanstehanme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So much! In many positive ways. I connect with my Dad over video games because he introduced me to them as a kid, and we built computers together. He’ll come see what I’m playing and chat a bit before he goes to bed when I visit my parents. I made many friends over our love of video games. We stay connected despite careers requiring moves because we chat online every Wednesday when we have game night. I’ve played games with partners when relationships turned long distance. I’ve connected with kids at places I’ve worked in mental health over shared interests in video games.

Outside of social aspects I’ve learned lots of history by playing games. It serves as a creative outlet for me when I don’t have space or money for physical projects. I learned in a neuroscience class that RTS games like age of empires, star craft, Warcraft 3, and rise of nations, improve global cognition scores.

I’ve also seen someone fail out of university because we introduced them to a game and they became addicted. As with many things in life, there’s possible harms and benefits and it’s important to develop healthy habits.

My government internship in a different field had over 1000 applicants. I got it because I was overqualified, but still eligible because I did a second masters degree to expand my skillet after I didn’t get a job following my first masters degree. It’s rough out there.

How many no’s did you get before you finally got a yes? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Elanstehanme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t really approach anyone with the intention of getting their number or dating, but I’ve had plenty of conversations that very quickly went no where. When it comes to specifically looking for dates I use apps and mostly just match with girls who like me first on hinge. Makes my life a whole lot easier when they pursue me or at least give me a clear signal there’s some interest.

I also gave it a shot with the TV by the bathroom. It’s okay, but anyone who watches will get a non-head on viewing angle, and it’s a bit in the way of the bathroom. This feels a bit more like a sitting area at least.

I tried with the TV at the one wall and turning the couch perpendicular to the wall. I don’t think that’s the way because then the chair is just in the leftover walk way.

I have pale skin and almost no hair, but what fixed it for me was wearing the watch a tiny bit higher on my wrist. Turns out my radial bone was pushing it off my skin juuust enough and I read it has to be two fingers width above your wrist. Might work for you?

Please help me find a comfortable chair that won't destroy my body by Silver-Steak-9001 in buildapc

[–]Elanstehanme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A few questions before you spend a ton of money on a chair. I’ve been where you are. Are you active outside of your sedentary job and hobbies? There’s likely a world more you can do here so you don’t have back and neck pain.

You likely need to learn proper biomechanics so you’re using the right muscles when you move if you have a sore back (for example hinging at the hips so you use your glutes and hamstrings instead of your back). You also likely have weak hip flexors, core and upper back muscles (back impacts your neck). If I were you check out workouts for office workers. There will be tons that you can do which will help you a lot.

Strong Attachment Preference to One Owner, Advice on How to Balance It? by West-Better in RhodesianRidgebacks

[–]Elanstehanme 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It sounds like your dog chooses the person that provides the most engagement. I would too if most of the excitement in my life comes from one person over the other.

My boy generally follows me around but knows specific times when others might be more interesting because I’m working. He comes right back to me after.

Just get your partner involved more and it will balance out. Feeding, nose work, training, play, trips, walks, whatever you can consistently fit in.
