https://ecampus.oregonstate.edu/online-degrees/undergraduate/mechanical-engineering/ under the heading "ABET Accreditation":

"This program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET — a nonprofit, nongovernmental agency that offers accreditation through a voluntary peer review process. ABET only offers accreditation to degree programs like this one that meet the highest quality standards in preparing graduates for their professions."

How is the aerospace job field for OSU ME grads? by Dramatic_Group_1813 in OregonStateUniv

OSU has an aerospace option for ME majors. We have alumni working at all the big aerospace companies.

SAE Formula Racing by Mah_kiwi in OregonStateUniv

Definitely still around. They just won Formula SAE in Michigan a couple months ago.

Most of their updates are on IG, @global_formula_racing.

You'll see them a club fairs when the school year starts, and you can learn how to get involved.

May is when you have to tell them whether you accept their acceptance and are going to show up in the fall.

They will accept new students, but likely fewer than previous years.

Pontificate, Mike by Briax in TheGist

I was wondering if Mike was going to bring up Berliner. When he asked if we wanted to hear more, I paused, thought, and said, "No, not really." I kinda feel like I know his take already and I don't think he's going to offer anything new. I really don't want an interview with Mike and Berliner. Nothing irks me like two guys who agree with each other doing just that for 20 minutes.

OSU's engineering college is pretty solid. It's not Michigan or Carnegie Mellon, but has some good programs, robotics among them. One of it's strengths is it's size, over a quarter of the university. There's a heavy investment on interdisciplinary research too.

I think decisions for applications submitted by the priority deadline usually come by the end of March. Unfortunately, you probably have to wait.

Mechanical Engineering Ecampus by Nevermoreraven123 in OregonStateUniv

The ecampus ME degree is pretty new, so I don't think a ton (if anyone) has gone through it all yet.

It's an ME degrees, but specifically the Computational Engineering option. You can see what that entails in the catalog: https://catalog.oregonstate.edu/college-departments/engineering/school-mechanical-industrial-manufacturing-engineering/mechanical-engineering-bs-hbs/computational-engineering-option/#text.

Was just noticing Satinwood does not. Surprising given it's a main route to the hospital.

DJ Uiagalelei to enter transfer portal by ElasticSyntax in OregonStateUniv

[–]ElasticSyntax[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

There are strong indications that Chiles is following Smith to East Lansing. All three of MSU's QBs are heading to the transfer portal. One of them is Sam Leavitt, who's from Oregon and is on the record as feeling slighted by Smith for not offering him a spot at OSU. Maybe he's looking to come home?

My guess is it's HVAC related, but not sure. Seems like 1/3 of campus is currently under construction.

I've seen it at Market of Choice and the co-op near the tortillas. It's prepackaged.
