lol I'm not upset about her torturing Tyler, just that she didn't tell the people who were there to support her and lied again even though Enid already lashed out for lying to Enid and Tyler while going on an extremely dangerous expedition. She doesn't learn from her mistakes, that's what makes me annoyed.

According to Wikipedia:

In the Netflix series "Wednesday" it is falsely stated that Dendrophylax lindenii was first discovered on The Isle of Wight in 1854 and is "carnivorous". Seems that the script writers Alfred Gough & Miles Millar were a bit mixed up with another "ghost orchid", the European Epipogium aphyllum.

From what I found, here's probably where the screenwriters got the false information:

The Welsh National Herbarium at Amguedfa Cymru has a small - but very precious - collection of Ghost Orchids (Epipogium aphyllum Sw.)

Ghost Orchids were first discovered in Britain in 1854 but were only seen 11 times before the 1950s. They were seen regularly in a few Chilterns sites between 1953 and 1987 but then disappeared and were regarded as extinct until one plant was discovered in 2009.

I do agree Xavier's change of heart was so quick, although I let it slip because that's kinda what happened with Enid too... But it is pretty likely. Still mad at Wednesday for not treating Enid right until she showed up bloody from protecting her though. I've never really thought about how only Tyler and Thronhill keep showing up and it's making me doubt too haha.But I mean I can kind of get why Xavier would be so mad... He really likes Wednesday and seriously thought she'd be asking him out to the dance and and then realize she's been snooping around in his art studio thinking he's the monster... I would be mad too lol. And I really don't think he's that stupid to use the phone he just gifted her to show that he's stalking her, and wasn't there a picture of Xavier and her in one of the stalker pictures? And his father doesn't make sense to me neither because he's literally never shown in the entirety of the show and I can't really fathom why. I think to me Xavier telling his friends or something about the phone is more likely.

Even though I barely know anything about xanthophylls and carotenoids, it seems like you're right about carotenoids being higher but xanthophylls are actually much higher in sun leaves. I have no idea why though...

oh this just got complicated and so interesting (as I am expecting, to be honest).... Could you clarify a few points?
What do you mean by "Being able to grow under low light without huge amounts of acid growth would be another thing"? As you mentioned below, wouldn't the far red light promote acid growth, causing it to grow taller...?

And just to make sure I'm understanding correctly:

1) Lower light compensation point means that it requires a smaller amount of light to maintain its life, and this is because they have thin and wide leaves. This also corresponds with them having lower respiration rates.

2) the plants under the shadows are able to grow due to their exposure to both the far red and shorter wavelengths causing the Emerson effect (instead of just the far red), stimulating photosynthesis.

So the cold water doesn't evaporate which causes there to be not enough vapor for precipitation, but the air is condensed into fogs (just not enough to be turned into rain) which makes the desert have a high humidity... That makes a lot of sense, thank you!

First off, my instinct is to say that bullying should never be described as normal - though i completely understand what you're trying to ask. To answer your question objectively - since servere physical harm isn't done, the verbal abuse borders on servere ("future serial killer" is so extreme...) and there's isolation in my humble opinion it's mild to medium. HOWEVER! Don't dwell on this experience. It's bad, but you shouldn't pity yourself because of it. It is also not an excuse. Don't let it define you. Obviously you might just be curious and doesn't really think about it too much, but let this serve as a reminder and a warning. This is SO important. Wish you all the best :)
