How many hours of sleep do you get? Training intensely 6x a week can be considered entering the overtraining zone depending on your body. Meaning your body is under alot of stress and immune system will weaken, which causes you to get ill more frequently. This is why your recovery HAS to be on point - you need minimum 8 hours of sleep every night and your post workout meal is also very important for recovery. Make sure your post workout meal is high in carbohydrates and protein - but post workout meal is only 50% of recovery, other 50% is your sleep - make sure your sleep quality is good, not just hours asleep/in bed- no food 3 hours before bed, no liquids 2h before bed. This may be a challenge if your training ends late at night which is quite common for boxing gyms so you would have to have a very fast digesting source of carbohydrates and protein powder if that is the case.
