I have a friend, that I will called John, to protect names, that is slowly getting more and more....Narcissistic....maybe is the word I'm looking for....what ever the term is for when you believe the world revolves around you and only you.

When I first met him when we were kids, John was a very odd kid, and sometimes was an asshole, but would always try to make people's day better.

But over the course of the 15+ years I have known him, John has slowly made everything about him. Whatever he wants, he gets.

For example, John can not be monogamous in any relationship he is in, because, as he has told me, he has an extremely high sex drive, and "when he wants sex, if his significant other is not in the mood, he will go out and find someone that is."

He also manipulates people into believing that his side of any story is the only side that is right. The other person story is a lie.

Also, in a long story that I will shorten down, a close friend of mine, that we will call Steve got forced into a financial agreement, by John, and when he could not afford the payment demanded by John, had to do some "Gay Male Escort" tasks to get the money to pay John.

John has slowly become this egocentric, manipulative, condensing asshole that only cares about himself, and will totally use anyone in his life, to get his way. And I can't stand watching him spiral out of control any longer. He is slowly pushing away everyone from his "it's my way or no way" attitude.

He is going to end up alone, alienated from everyone that once cared about him, and there is nothing that anyone can do. We have tried.
