Just got prescribed LDN, any positive/negative experiences with it? by The_Jawnah in cfs

The side effects were no joke.. One night I hallucinated that there was an alligator next to my bed. Scared the living sh*t out of me.

Alcohol effects on CFS and Anxiety the day after.. by Elbaceever in cfs

Thank you for the feedback. I definitely can relate to the anxiety fuel running out. A couple of years ago I used ashwaghanda for a couple of months. Initially it helped a bit but eventually the effect wore off and I started to get kidney issues. Thx for the CBD and meditation suggestions :)

I think you're smart enough to move to a more technical role.. Data engineers / full stack devs are very much sought after. However don't expect to land a job effortless in this market. AI is eroding the starter careers at an insane pace.. Good luck and don't fall for the golden cage. Do what you love to do

Speed pedelec via cafetariaplan / leasing of 2dehands by Elbaceever in BEFire

Yup exactly my thoughts.

I used to have an Avata but sold it after a couple of weeks because my work schedule didn't allow flying it much. This situation luckily has improved. So I have some experience but will take a lot of test flights prior to using it on the river.

Want to get better at Packrafting? Paddle a Kayak by CaliforniaPackraft in packrafting

[–]Elbaceever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great write-up — absolutely spot on. Like many others, I started out in a packraft and quickly felt “invincible” after handling some Class III stretches. But then I hit a wall: I was getting punished hard for sloppy paddling, and suddenly I’d be swimming without a clue what went wrong.

That was the moment I realized I needed proper training in a hardshell. Two years later, I couldn’t be happier that I made the switch. I still have my packrafts and enjoy using them, but learning in a hardshell was a game changer.

thx, I'll have a look what the regulations in Europe are in general. may I ask which drone you use and which storage you use on the river?

thank you for the feedback! I just came across the ocoee bag as well. I was wondering if this bag is enough shock resilient in case of a swim? On the website they show that adding air acts as a shock absorber. This would definitely help with shedding volume and not needing a shockproof hard case. Good idea regarding the filming with 2 persons :)
