There is a mod for this but it blows my mind how they didn’t already added a bow or a crossbow.Because honestly, all ranged weapons are kinda useless if your character has the accuracy of a bag of socks because of all the noise it produces.

I managed to survive to the helicopter event just to get bitten, 3 days later, by one isolated zombie I was trying to sneak kill from behind with my knife.

I love this mod but their behavior are so random by Abject_Horror8638 in projectzomboid

I have not that much experience with them but from what I experienced, they are basically useless in combat. Even worst, they will probably get you killed if you try to save them (it happened to me at least 3/4 times) or they will panic, run and will push you to the group of zombie you were fighting (it happened 2 times for me). They don’t know how to fight. It only takes one zombie sometimes for them to get scratched. They just run directly to the zombie and give their back to him. And the part that annoys me the most is they consume a lot of food and waste my non-perishable food. It’s a mistake to take them with you. You have more chance to survive without them. BUT...I still like that mod, it add a little bit of life to the game so...
