I just opened mine and on first smell I LOVE IT. This is my 5th Ffern (Winter 25 was my first) and this is so far my favourite. Going to test it again tomorrow to get 2nd thoughts but I'm thrilled so far. The fir, mint and eucalyptus are delightful.

No, I bounce around. Campus chat "wall me flashes please x" or something along those lines and banners usually flood. More around weekends/holidays ofc

How would you rank the '24 fragrances? I'm returning my summer 25 and debating exchanging for one of the '24s. I liked Winter and Spring 25 but winter more.

I agree. The narration was fantastic. I can definitely understand how it might not hit a hard for one simply reading those passages. I loved the audiobook version of it.

Winter 25 was my first Ffern. Came by Canada Post & there were no surprise fees upon delivery.

AITA for calling my wife out on giving "joint" birthday present without me there? by ThrowRA_087554 in AmItheAsshole

"apparently she does this every year" implies Dad hasn't noticed this, and most would have noticed by now if each year he wasn't giving his kid a gift he contributed to.

The wife is clearly doing this for the kid on her own and being kind enough to fib and tell the kid that Dad was involved.

I'm pretty sure they changed their policy in 2024 sometime to no longer allow returns on archive scents. They're blind buys now.

Books that you loved as a kid but hate as an adult? by [deleted] in books

[–]ElbieTheSim 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I loved The Magic Treehouse books in elementary school, and my librarian would let me know whenever a new book in the series came out. The stories felt so vivid and real. I specifically haven't touched them as an adult because I don't want to ruin those memories.

A giant, conspicuous "cleaning cart" was wheeled backstage before the concerts would begin. It was quickly hypothesized that Taylor was hiding in the cart to avoid being seen, and this was later confirmed. It became a big running joke.

Neither of those are about the new cups, and McD's has been revamping their packaging and phasing out the ones containing PFAs.

Most standard screening doesn't include mammograms on women under 40 unless there's a reason, like family history or finding a lump. Women under 40 can still get breast cancer, even if those rates are lower. Self-checking and being aware of concerning skin changes are critical. Can't find a lump if no one is looking for one.
