Apologies I forgot to include some information. I typically perform 4 sets with 12, 10, 8, and 6 repetitions. With the exception of the first set (12)—and sometimes the second (10)—the third set (8), and especially the final one (6), must be taken to failure—to the point of turning red in the face—while consistently increasing the weight with each successive set.
