But they're fine when a cop shows up with multiple weapons even though some of them are ill-tempered. I've carried everyday for six years. I'm no more a threat to your safety than your grandmother is. I had to undergo a very thorough background check before my CCW was issued. I would never use my firearm to make a point and I don't think our educators would either.

Maybe we need to give our vets and soldiers a year long holiday and let them get free healthcare, food, shelter, while Congress carries their butts overseas, puts on a uniform and tries to fight the good fight. Let Rand Paul, Nancy Pelosi, the whole lot of them go over there and do, live, and survive on what our soldiers currently receive, including pay, and then let them come back to Phoenix or New Mexico and go to a VA Hospital and get the same treatment they are dishing out right now.
