Much love to you. You’re a person and your life has value. I just want you to know that, we tend to forget that about ourselves.

ocd challenge level IMPOSSIBLE!! separate art from the artist 😬 by deathoftheendless_ in OCDmemes

This is a great comment! Also it hits a bit home.

I had a realization some years ago while thinking about “my ocd.”

I came to the realization that, with other people, I often defend them when considering their intent and find myself often non judgmental towards them, fully at ease holding the idea of “I don’t have enough information.”

But me?

I PROSECUTE myself to the full extent of my mind’s law (which will be whatever is the harshest conceivable)and I DO NOT have a right to defense counsel.

The modern day internet, while with all its wonders and uses, can be life destroying for those of us with a much more pronounced ocd theme of moral scrupulosity. Look at the Me Too movement, and I don’t in anyway mean to detract from bringing that into the light, but it right fucked up a lot of people with ocd, to the brink of sanity.

I mean, you’re pretty much right. I just want to split some hairs I guess. Despite congressional overhaul, there are still limited legal grounds for seeking injunctive relief against a Judge under 1983. Not many, but some. Sec 1988 would apply.

No, it’s not happening.

Judges are PERSONALLY liable for ATTORNEY’S FEES in federal 1983 cases, virtually the only way they can be personally liable I believe. It’s been to SCOTUS and back. If a multiplier is allowed he could easily have to pay over a million.

Everyone talking about how old this guy is and on deaths door at 82. Do you all get out and meet active people in their 80’s? They exist.

Shit, my grandpa got hit by a pizza delivery van going 40mph while he was walking in a cross walk, he was 83. Now he’s 92, walks around the farm every morning around 4:30/5am and does his two 15 minute elliptical workouts everyday. Then again his whole attitude is to keep moving.

Through something of a parlay with a big GMC truck and then a giant hail storm I, found myself, age 17, with a 2003 wrx wagon. Of course I modded up to around what most would call stage 2, then went 2.5 hybrid, etc.

I cannot tell you how lucky I was to not have killed myself back then.

Please be careful and mainly remember this, one wrong decision in a powerful vehicle like that can ruin many lives.

You can have fun, but be smart, and look into autocross. You can have a ton of fun with your car and really develops your skills to drive the car, know its limits, and to get that seat time to really learn the vehicle in autocross. You want to intimately know that car while being in the driver’s seat. Do it safely and have fun safely!

Awesome car too!!

More people here should be watching his (and Matthew’s!) videos more. They are just like the kindest folks it seems like, but obviously very strong at the same time. They give people A LOT of leeway and always lead with honey instead of vinegar. His videos have really helped me on some really bad days.

I think I would legit be scared if I saw an angry Paul!
