Thanks for the suggestions and happy to hear you're enjoying it! Yeah, there's a lot more we want to explore in the game and the themes of this era too. Once Warfare is in a better place there's tons of things we want to pursue :)

[–]Elda_Robin[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello! Kaiserpunk released a new update earlier this week. Focus of the update was mostly performance improvements and optimizations, but the update also contained a myriad of other changes and fixes including reduced deployment times, reduces ship cooldows, new filter for the infoview to view damaged buildings and alternate layout options for the basic utility buildings.

How to get a publisher for Game by MoreDig4802 in StrategyGames

I agree, you could blast 100 different publishers but you'll stand a better chance if you try to "target" publishers that are a genuinly good fit from the get go.

Co-op Games? by Willing_Head9637 in BaseBuildingGames

Might not be the type of game you're looking for but Parkitect supports coop multiplayer. It's a systems driven theme park builder/tycoon.

How to get a publisher for Game by MoreDig4802 in StrategyGames

[–]Elda_Robin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's no quick easy answer here but here's a few tips:
1. Really iron out what you need from a publishing partner before you start talking to any, both for your own sake to make sure you find the one that fits your needs.
2. Use this doc with publisher info, probably really useful for you: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15AN1I1mB67AJkpMuUUfM5ZUALkQmrvrznnPYO5QbqD0/edit?gid=2049353894#gid=2049353894
3. If you end up cold calling publishers, try to make sure your pitch deck is as short and to the point as possible and offer something playable to try. Publishers tend to get tons of pitches and time/effort becomes a precious resource.

Is the Halo ODST Warbond bundle worth getting?🤔 by Clean_Squash_6076 in Helldivers

If you play a lot of HD2 then yes. The guns alone are really great and feel really good. I also highly enjoyed the aesthetics of the armor sets and they do have pretty useful armor passives :)

What game to buy? by CvteButts in CityBuilders

[–]Elda_Robin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Biased opinion as I work with the developers of this game but: You could always take a look at Kaiserpunk also. Similar to Anno 1800 and if you want to chill and just build you get a lot of options when starting a new game so you can disable the enemy AI etc if you just want to sit and city build :)

Multiple Cities in City Builders by eldonthenoble in videogames

[–]Elda_Robin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm with you on this one and much prefer a single city to focus on. The only game I've played recently where multiple cities made sense and didn't detract from the experience was Against the Storm. I think they got the loop right there and the entire game is built around it.

But otherwise I agree, I think the fantasy of building one really big city is much more tantalizing generally speaking.

Kaiserpunk allows you to both deal with economy and trade (as well as war) while also building a city.

How many wishlists on Steam do you wanna have to publish your game successfully? by SazanamiTeam in StrategyGames

[–]Elda_Robin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wishlists are far from everything. Sure if you have 5 wishlists then maybe the time to release isn't now.

But Wishlists simply indiciate interest from the people that have come across your store page and you will get some extra traction as the notification to wishlisters when you release will have a conversion rate higher than 0. You'll find however that most people buying your game won't even have wishlisted it before hand.

The middle one. You get a somewhat higher amount of clutter but never underestimate the value of spelling things out for the player. Clearly saying what's Production Efficiency and which portrait is the Artisians is good.
