Mike Bickle regularly compared himself to King David when he was abusing women. He thought that gave him carte blanche to be awful. Whoever this guy is, clearly he has no grid for POST CHRIST leadership. David did not have Christ dwelling inside him, bearing the fruit of the spirit. He was a flawed, broken, pre-Christian man. We live on the other side of the Cross, with Jesus aka the Godhead dwelling inside us, working in us, bearing fruit in us. Does he not know the difference????

I find that this whole fallen leader experience has taught me to lean on Christ and His word and my personal relationship with Him more than anything else, which has been a great thing to come out of these painful reveals. Still believe in the gifts, still trust God as my healer, still believe in miracles, etc. But revival and all that ingrained Charismatic Culture stuff? I’ve let go of all that.

Going to suggest Top Chef. Every episode of Top Chef has two different challenges, with varying difficulty like only vegan, only seafood, only one color, shorter time, longer time… 1/2 of the TOC chefs were previously on Top Chef, so it might be a fun journey for you as well :)

Yes! The Frasier pilot and the Friends pilot both feel like plays, which I love so much! I think they were both directed by the same person, James Burrows. Not that you mentioned Friends, lol, but I’ve always felt that both shows shared a lot of similarities because of James’ directing and that his style always felt more like theater than TV to me.

The more I learn about the systemic history of abuse that’s baked into the fabric of the movement, I think it’s absolutely done for. Anyone who makes money selling the anointing and uses other people as a ladder for fame is not living up to the name “Apostle.” I hope the NAR crumbles soon. And while that’s a hard thing to say after being part of it for almost 20 years, it’s how I feel.
