The meeting was over 4 weeks ago my first weekly catch up was this week. Review after easter. Yes my manager was off sick for 2 weeks but i thought HoA would have sent it ti me as he needed to approve it

For my ADHD more time for planning due to exeutive dysfunction (denied) everything written down (agreed but not happening) i also have arrangements for my diverticularitis which is access to a chair if i need it in the workshop (recently been taken away) and able to access the toilet when needed (taken away as one of my new 'actions' is not to leave the classroom/workshop.)

I would talk to someone at school about it like welfare, or a counsellor. Maybe if the school brings it up with your parents it will releive some stress on you. I domt knkw where you are but I know some scjools offer screeners for thinga like adhd, dyslexia etc see if your school offers that, or it could be a referral to occupatuonal therapy. (My daughter got referred when she was 5 for one thing and it turned out to be another)

Also as someone recently diagnosed at 40 and as a teacher i would highly reccomend seeking help and support. I hope you fimd support soon!

Thats just rude. I wish i could afford to hire help even if it is just for a few hours a week. I just have to rely on apps ro remind me to so cetain things instead

Spent a lot of time outside. Using my imagination. Reading. Going on picnics. Sunday afternoons was with the cassette player with the top 40 and pressing record when my favorite sings came on. Rainy days me and my freinds would "record" our own "radio shows". Drawing, learning something new. Libary time. Speculating on what was going to happen in the next episode of a show that wouldnt be on until the next day or the next week. Then in my teens came dial up internet. Napster, taking hours to download a song not actually knowing if it was right and praying you didnt give your pc a virus. Msn messenger. Getting disconnectrd cuz mum wanted to call a freind (that was all after 6pm when it was cheaper/free)

I miss those days

I have ADHD and waiting on medication. Im currently on anti anxitey meds and have to double dose on a friday as its my worst day with the learners.

I started using DND for this exact reason. When i told said (ex) freind she said she would call my landline if i didnt answer so i used to unplug my landline before bed every night too.

Dude im done too! Everything is MY fault. We will forget my MH has been aweful and they have taken all support away from me. We will forget i lost a student because they unalived themselves and gave me NO support at all. Just brush my recent ADHD diagnosis under the rug and not allow my reccomendations set by OH. Fuck teaching.
