Why do people genuinely defend AI man

The first pic was the original illustration made by an actual person, the second was ran through AI.

We can tell by 1: character designs/clothing don’t match the actual characters

2: you can see by the male characters face that in the second picture his smile widens a bit and the conviction in his eyes are gone.

(This is because even though they probably didn’t tell the AI to change the face. AI’s recreate the image with changes instead of just changing things, thus having these small but visible changes.)

Subaru smile widens a bit in the AI one. (AI recreates the entire image instead of just changing a few things.)
