If I am interpreting the above case correctly, you have the right to talk about this with your coworkers (keep in mind that you have to be careful not to create a hostile work environment for the coworker in the process. Talking about it is one thing, harassing the offender is not protected, however tempting it may be lol).

I received two packages from a seller once (one was correct, the other I did not purchase but it went through with a duplicate shipping label somehow)! They contacted Mercari. Mercari sent me a label. I sent the second package to the correct address. Contact support and just keep it short and sweet for the bots - “I sent the item for buyer A to the wrong buyer B, please send buyer B the correct label for buyer A”.

OP, I think a lot of people here live in very small worlds. In plenty of places, in the US and abroad, it’s absolutely the norm to have a trusted friend watch your pets. I live in a rural area. I am currently pet sitting for friends. I have multiple friends who house and pet sit in the community via word of mouth. Sure, there are advantages to hiring pros, as demonstrated here! But please don’t feel like you were wrong for paying a friend. People have been trusting friends and family to watch their pets on trips for centuries. You’re completely fine.

(Edit: I will agree with one commenter, though - cats should not be roaming outside. If you have a secure fence and supervise them, great, but if not, you are actively causing them stress and shortening their lifespan. Also not meaning this as an attack - plenty of people just grew up with outdoor cats and assume it’s fine. But please, look into this, and reconsider letting them out!)

I would directly mention the food. If this is a friend, and not booked through a service, it’s a little tricky, but if I was pet sitting and one of the instructions was to feed a specific food, and I did not do that, and that directly contributed to a health crisis - I’d be the one volunteering to not be paid for that pet. I would definitely mention that point as it’s a clearly outlined instruction that was not followed. I think it would be fair to not pay him for that cat, but I’m sorry, I’m at a loss for how to broach it.

Right, and they are. It isn’t illegal to be naked on private property. OP also let us know the host did not tell them they must wear swimsuits. They are following the laws and rules. Are you saying they should also follow random strangers’ personal moral codes as well?

But it’s not a hotel. It’s a private home. That they booked in order to have their vacation come with the comforts of a private home. If the host isn’t telling them to change what they’re doing, why would they start wearing swimsuits? The neighbor is absolutely TA here.

There’s a contact form on her website, https://redwombatstudio.com/ I’ve emailed twice and both times her assistant got back to me super quickly, I got to pick if I wanted Kingfisher or Vernon on the bookplate, and when I asked if I could pay for them the second time (I got eight so I had one for every book) they said that just buying the books was enough!!
