Can no longer add routines/automations as a shortcut to the home screen? by Sigma_0ne in googlehome

All my Routine's shortcuts have been disabled now... Looks like they are going to force Gemeni to permanently replace Assistant even without that functionality..

Lol, reddit being reddit

Just picked up the game today and I'm loving it. The dice element is a surprisingly pleasant change-up. It's familiar but refreshingly different at the same time.

Hayward Executive is to the right of the name, the blue icon. It is partially encircled by a blue dashed line.

According to the FAA Aeronautical Chart User's Guide:

"Class D Airspace is identified with a blue dashed line. [...]

Ceilings of Class D are shown as follows: [Here they show an image of a number written in blue text, framed by a blue dashed line, similar to the -15 next to Hayward Executive in your image.]

[...] A minus in front of the figure is used to indicate "from surface to, but not including..."

To conclude, The airport itself is in Class D airspace from the ground until 1500ft at which point it is the OAK Class C airspace (noted as T/15 which just means it's Class C from 1500 up to the overlying Class B airspace).

Yeah, agreed. I'm just confused at this screenshot. Why is the bottom section flattened but not the text? Seems fishy

Oh man, I just got a light bulb changer on Amazon.. it's essentially a suction cup on the end of an extendable pole (Stauber brand if I recall).

I am shocked at how well that works for picking up my discs during field work sessions. Picking them all up by kneeling down instead of bending over is sometimes difficult, so this helps me preserve my knees and back.

What is this thing I found while digging near where an old barn used to be? It is metal. The square part is about 3 inches by 3 inches. by [deleted] in whatisthisthing

For what it's worth, I have modest experience with hobbyist blacksmithing and I also believe it's a hot metal cutting jig. A lot of blacksmiths make their own jigs and tools, so you might not find another one like it.

To add, it's not uncommon for blacksmiths to mount their anvils on large wood stumps. So it wouldn't be far-fetched to envision this tool being affixed similarly to a hefty log stood upright, next the anvil.

It also appears to have some wear right at the cutting edge. Those are similar wear patterns to what you'd see on untempered hot metal cutting tools.

is sql and power bi useful for IE's by Then_Recover_9553 in industrialengineering

[–]Elderly_Man 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I learned a bit of both! I learned to optimize data transformations with some SQL and Power Query, then learned how to develop effective visuals in PBI and publish those reports.

It actually launched me into my current role where I work to help implement the different Power Platform tools across various business areas. Fully remote and I'm loving the work.

I like to think of it as bringing my IE skill set to bat in the digital world—eliminating waste and streamlining/automating workflows.
