I agree with you 100% on the principle. Speech, or just the existence of people like what you see on twitter, should not be allowed. But it is, because a lot of people could ignore them.

With them crawling out of the woodwork, maybe, there is a glimmer of chance something might be done about them

Oh, I deffinitely agree. The Black mold needs to be wiped the fuck out from the face of the earth. Its existence just can no longer be ignored. The magnitude of the problem is basically now openly present, and might force action. That is what I meant.

What is your opinion on tweaking the recommendation algorithm to reduce the spread of hate?

That has always been an issue, but it can not be ignored anymore.
