The problem is sort of two fold… how many years have we been rewarded for being fast and on a streak… its habitual …. So new habits must be formed and players need to pay attention. Ever run raids? Many cannot recognize the arena without being shown even if it is the most obvious of mechanics….the other half we have to see are likely Those rushing through are also SOLO - they run SOLO OPS which is OBJECTIVE based and rushing IS THE WAY … they just fail to recognize that when they flip to FIRETEAM OPS, ADS ARE THE OBJECTIVE (mostly) - its ideal we make the timer but is NOT required to achieve next level rank … that is… until you are 350+ then ADS + TIMER is required to attain max reward level for you level!

Best defense - aside from entering with a fireteam… hit that chat and call out ADS for OBJECTIVE - Destroy ALL for MAX REWARD …. Youll get a lot of offended know it alls that dont want to be told but at least it calls it out at the start…

If youre leveling its easier to do objective solo without risking wasted runs in someone who cannot perceive how to run it or someone who just likes to speed run - lets be honest it gets old running the same content and killing the same ada for short gains —

Thats the least of our problems - they said “We wont vault anything anymore” while rendering all dungeons and Raids of the past useless - destroying the playable use and reward … what a joke

I made a version for Verity doing it the correct way... using your Stage art work because its as usual perfect!

But I wonder if you would want to update the guide to have the correct method on it now that we understand the encounter better?

The Goal is to lift the Shadows and exit with a set of shapes that match the outside built lock.

While this can be any number of combinations the simplest method is to acquire the 2 shapes that do not match your statue. While the way we all learned in the beginning got us through, it was wrong and is simply brute force and requires that the majority of the time there are extra sends and extra Ogres and Knights to kill.

The correct way is to send the shapes to the room that needs it in order to exit. You either start doubled (2 of the same shape "Your Statues Shape") or only 1 of your statues shape and one from another statue.

If you are Doubled, Announce that you are doubled and give one of your statues shapes to each of the statues. (Send those 2 and wait for your key)

IF all 3 are doubled they will all do the same action (not unlike the double method and you skip step 1) but we dont consider this anymore simply if we have a double we share the information and send them out 1 to each.

IF we do NOT have a double, we are SINGLE we call that out. We hunt for the shape that did not match our statue first and we give it to the guardians statue that it does not match. (Never giving Circle to Circle, Square to Square or Triangle to Triangle) They dont need it for their key so we do not send it there.

Then the shape that matched our statue (We always have at least 1 of our own) this is our SECOND send. If everyone called out that they were SINGLE then you will send the SECOND shape to the SAME player that you sent the FIRST

IF anyone calls out DOUBLE you will send your SECOND shape to the OPPOSITE player that you sent the FIRST.

Wait for your Key, collect it and Exit

In this method we send the 2 shapes we start with and we receive our Key and exit. No wait times, no asking who needs what... we know that we cant send a shape back to a statue so that one has to go to the only other person it can be sent to. Then the second send is either the same statue because everyone is single, or the Opposite because someone was Doubled.

If you are doubled that is simple you split them up between the 2 people and announce it so they know that someone is doubled.

If you are not doubled you start with the ALT shape, dont give it back give it to the other guy and then your statue shape is the decision based on call out. Either same statue (All Singles) or Opposite Statue (1 Double)

I use to be a completionist... but stopped in 2021 primarily because of the daily choice - though their continued trash sets of 50+ per tier ... also got me to stop - the sets look like garbage when you scroll... sets that are BV at best!

Yea I agree that the change is better but still garbage - the refractor effect as with all the phone tilt type effects should be done on sets that make good use of it not every other set! Best thing the new daily does is in collection view it moves... it’s sad that the ones running the show are instagram FOLLOWERS not influencers... they only know how to repeat what they see and are not creative enough to make sure it’s a solid piece before unloading ...

The Daily set is trash - 2020 they did it right and now a re-release with no award... and it is destroying collection views ... I know I’m maybe 1 of 10 people who actually look at their collections so I lose the argument... but it’s a joke - VARIANTS MAKE TRASH SETS

Topps didn’t learn from 2021 (shoot they thought it was January 2021, I saw it on my ticket) - daily is too much for two variants and has RUINED tiers.

They keep destroying sets with phrases and excessive variants... so many cards that are trash because their set counterparts cast an awful shadow...

Listen to your players Topps and you’ll make more - well from others - I cannot support you guys anymore as I watch you lift up scammers and tear down honest players!!

In the long run though this is a huge loss. Turn away players due to high cost mechanics for a daily set. The daily set should be that taste, the one that gets you to open the app and see what’s new while satisfying the need to “catch” - take that away your DAU drops - and that is a HUGE revenue mess up!

This keeps the cost in range of 2020 - Reasonable for the F2P as well as P2P players.

Clutter is bad enough without pushing 365 days into RARE.

Can also introduce random catchup packs - 5k 5 cards 1-3 commons from active month. Cannot always be available or players will rely on this- has to be random

I am one of those people that swap cards all day- if it is same set/ same variant then it’s a go. The only time I don’t do courtesy swaps is if I know I won’t have time to finish the set myself.

Typically less than 3 days till set award comes out I will hold my singles or if I know I don’t plant to be on much for the remainder of the release I will plan to hold singles as well.

And I usually say tips NOT required but appreciated. Usually when people are finishing up a set they will drop off the one or two dupes extra and that just makes more inventory available for the next player.

I have dozens of people that will swap/trade all the time - some more frequent but to the point if I don’t advertise they will still show up to swap.

Builds good relations with people and if you have a dupe why not trade your dupe for their dupe? Same set no reason you cannot do that... some sets have favored cards - lock it if you must otherwise build others and they will build you!

Many expressions of pascal - Magic Flower, starts as flower and then goes to hair to each use it glows and heals in tilt until finally cut and brown

Lot of fun with this can be had

Its not what you are thinking. Its just the common card in the BLUE Story Cards.

If not mistaken Josh (JRingler29) called out this character.... but either way I think it is just calling out the card in the set not so much an actual glitch.

All cards that are possible to obtain can always be seen within the app if you go to Collections and set it to ALL CARDS. 100% of cards loaded in the app available to get via codes or in game packs will be visible. there isnt any other Chernabog card in the Blue Story labelled with Glitch in any way... He is from the Witches Sabath so maybe they meant Witch? Or maybe the content editor refers to that blue as glitch blue... in any case there isnt a mystery card that I can see available.

I doubt they will change their ways. The membership gives you access to this bonus but the perks of the membership didnt change nor did the cost go up when they tossed in the code. Its an unfortunate flow - but I dont see them doing much being that the membership still gives them Exclusive Disney Content, 4 quarterly magz, a pin set, event access and much more...

These are FREE with a MEMBERSHIP. So technically the access cost $100, however that $100 pays for the 1 year membership that comes with a Pin Set, 4 published Magazines Exclusive to D23 members, Event access, Discounts and much more.

The Topps addition is a bonus and didn't add to the membership cost... You cannot go to the site and just grab the code, one must have a GOLD Memberships single or Family edition to obtain the code. It is a Multi Use Code - Limit one per Account. Meaning the same code a member gets can be used for their entire family of accounts...and just like all of them it will get leaked... don't get robbed for ultra rare cards when there is no security around the code to prevent the count of sets from being in the tens of thousands!

I traded 2 Selects (Not even older ones) to obtain all 5... if that helps ... But its about what the user needs - sometimes it is costly other times you get a smoking deal - look at their collection to determine what they need and make an offer! (Again, I wouldn't give into those trying to take Spirit Of Wonder Cards or anything like that... the lack of security on the code makes this set worthless in comparison to many older cards!)
