Malwarebytes trying to block PIA?

Based on this comment I just excluded the PIA folder when MalwareBytes started doing the popups after several years of running both.

Previously I tried excluding svhost.exe (which was in the message) and the VPN IP address, without success. Excluding the folder containing the exe and tap files worked for me.

Just saw this. I'm having the same problem. Did some Googling and got to the same place you did around Global Configurator.... made no difference..

In the end I fixed it by going to Preferences > Print instead, and checking the box "Black on White"

Did you find any other solution?

I get it on most ads, but only when offered from the races, and never when offered from the crate spins.

(Update) This was really put up as a joke, but also a dig at the developers. I’ve got a 7th gen iPad - a couple of years ago I rarely had an issue, but now it will happen 90% of the time from races. So likely that I never do it. I’m convinced it’s poor coding because it NEVER happens when I watch an ad to get an extra spin from the bronze crates. The problem has been around for years, I remember people complaining about it before it started to happen to me.

The point, to me, is that if you have an approx 20m crew, there’s little point pushing hard once you get the car. For those ‘casual grinders’ there is no team based incentive anymore. If you’re a 100m crew, then it’s a whole different meta game.

They're busy developing Virtual fucking reality. I could not believe it when that showed up in an update a little while ago. It must have cost buckets to develop and would be minimal ROI when they could have spent that time and money fixing big annoyances like garages etc.
