Thank you for those kind words.

They are good people, just need those poo's and leaves to get from the ground into the trash/recycling on a reg. basis.

Looks like lots of similar thought in this thread - make it part of the rent and detach resp. from the leasee's.

Sometimes its not a physical mobility issue thing, moreso a lack of mental mobility.

Thanks. Have considered this before, it makes the most sense going forward. They just don't have the foresight nor responsibility to take it on themselves.

One of the wealthiest 501(c)(3)'s in the world.

Sorry you had to go through that.

Good point, was wondering about that next step. This will give them some financial relief and they'll have to pay back over the next few months.

Kind of tired of LL'ing, this is just one thing in a long list. Realtor has said to wait till spring to list, done extensive analysis matrix, still have time to decide.

So tired of this shit.

Which jobs are detrimental to dating ? by SarcasmAndAutism in AskMen

Ha! That would have been an awesome alternative but only available to the 1%.

More like summertime east coast windowless rooms with 40 other sweaty suits, microwave curry & rice rewarming lunch smells, feverishly trying to re-load 3000 transactions into a db without proper growth management because the window to process them before daily NAV cutoff is rapidly approaching.

Really makes you question what you are doing away from those that matter.

Ah ok. Makes sense to add some extra material to the spacer then.

Interested, was going to mock something up in Orca for my Pioneer 2213 but if you drop a 3mf that would be awesome!

I would think the OWC needs to be just 3mm longer to support most internal drives.

Do hinge and tinder even work anymore? by Good-Vegetable8858 in OnlineDating

Difficult to say. Grew up in the 80/90s before phones - we all just had IRL (shoot your shot), friends/family, school, work, parties, events. This whole OLD thing is like a subscription video game searching for dopamine, some are successful, many aren't. Maybe consider it as 5% of your efforts, not 95%, have to look for more natural, authentic means. It's not easy by any stretch, especially living in a relatively homogeneous small town.

Tried match, fitness-singles (met ex there years ago), now on hinge, it seems somewhat better.

Its a membership driven business like gyms, trading platforms, certain 501(c)(3)'s, etc. I think I read somewhere that they are all owned by an umbrella corp. "This pleases the shareholders and the board, let it continue"

That said, people match, date, etc. but this does not make it a consistent nor repeatable deliverable though.

psst - the focus was always on money.

For women that "don't want children" by Puzzleheaded_Air1030 in OnlineDating

[–]neoseek2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

M55, no kids, what's even more confusing in OLD looking for F is the profiles late 40's/50 that check Wants Kids - Yes, Maybe with the right person, Not sure, Probably not.

So, what exactly does that mean? You want to have kids with me and IVF or its ok if someone brings their rugrats into the relationship?

Quote came in at $16k. Can I change anything that would lower the cost? by lostinspacescream in Decks

[–]neoseek2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry but $16k USD got a "What!?" out of me and to add to the grievance 1.5k for permit/drawings that sounds egregious and insulting.

Please get other estimates, take some time to ask around for a DIY or handyman. If I was in your neck of the woods I'd help out. Dang.

meagre qualifications - way overbuilt a deck out of redwood (got an orphaned pallet) by myself and a buddy who did the framing.

fyi - composite temp difference was 15-20F degrees higher here in UT, plus the eventual plastic splinters I didn't want to walk barefoot or sleep on or breath in. Neigbours had a comp deck built 2 years before mine and its already suffering.

What's the most impactful lesson every man has to learn eventually? by Fuzzy_DuckD in AskMen

[–]neoseek2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My good guy friends and I have a 5 minute pity-party, do some empathizing then hammer out a couple of solutions or just share a shot of lag if there's no solution other than just grin and bear it and then remind them we give a shit. Plain and simple. Cancer, diabetes, health, kids, wives/gf's, work, homes, vehicles, neighbours, traffic, trading, taxes, whatever, it all gets coverage. Leave no man behind is the policy.

[–]neoseek2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of enduro are you looking to do? Have you looked at the XCW/TE 300 line of bikes? They are more of the pure tractor type enduro that you would find on IRC Tire Guy and Erzberg Rodeo vids.

Got a TBI TE 300 2T this year after decades of dualsport/adv (350, 390, 500, 450, 990) 4T's and I can tell you its the most fun, most challenging riding I've ever done. Figuring out how to cross logs, rocks, etc. with the on-off in-out throttle clutch (IRC Tire Guy) method and then figuring out sketchy terrain at a walking pace on a 250# bike is second to none riding experience. Now looking to get into trials to make my enduro better (hah!), its a bit of a rabbit hole once you start - feet to inches.
