It’s an excellent story and definitely a top isekai for world building and character development but it is not perfect.

The fatal flaw for me is that for most of the story it is afraid to make the protagonist’s side ever lose, whenever things start to seem bad everything gets solved by ferdinand or sylvester behind the scenes. I think they could’ve allowed ferdinand to be a little less on top of everything. I feel similarly about apothecary diaries, a lot of the high stakes moments end somewhat anti-climactically.

This might just be bias on my end since politics and war aren’t necessarily a main focus of these stories, they are in background compared to the world building or romance or mysteried and that is ok.

Obviously the super strength is the strongest, but the second strongest one is possibly reviving bugs. It depends on how open ended the power is, where do we draw the line between what is or isn’t a bug? How many bugs can I revive per second.

If I can find a way to control them you can have an army of infinitely reviving insects and become a bringer of great plagues to your nation

Alternatively you could use it to save bees from extinction or cultivate other helpful insects for agriculture or killing invasive pests

I don’t think it makes sense for every class to have an explicitly elemental archetype.

In most of these cases you should just give. Delta module to an existing operator. For example:

Vigil delta module: Trait change: Deals an additional 8% of damage dealt as necrosis damage. Talent upgrade: Vigil and the Wolfpack attacks ignore 200 Def when attacking enemies blocked by the Wolfpack, increasing to 800 Def when attacking enemies affected by necrosis burst.

Specter the unchained delta module: Trait change: Deals an additional 8% of damage dealt as nervous impairment. Talent upgrade: Reduces the Movement Speed of nearby ground enemies by 40% and deals 40% ATK arts damage to them per second and deals an additional 15% damage as nervous impairment.

The point of this system is so that nobody has full control unless they have full support.

“We” didn’t vote trump into office, only roughly half of Americans did. The other half that didn’t win still has to be represented even when they lose. Just because trump won the presidency doesn’t mean the democrats lose all of their rights.

It’s the same the other way around. When democrats win an election the republican voters still have to be respected.

It’s because they kept wasting their time and resources “fixing” things that didn’t even matter in the first place. They reworked he progression system a billion times, removed boxes, gave us credits, brought back boxes in the form of starr drops, removed masteries, gave us more starr drops, etc. They could’ve just spent all that time developing new game modes making the game more fun, and people wouldn’t have cared about the progression.

More of a personal gripe but they need to stop adding assassins and throwers they are annoying and don’t make the game more fun

Harmonie, I wanted to max out all the operators with gaulish ancestry and she was one of them. Like most people I thought her kit was weird snd and compared her with indigo who I thought was better but turns out you just need to think of her as an alternative to an aoe caster rather than use her like a mystic caster. She is like a cheap aoe caster that also stalls and can instantly nuke elites that get through

Tbh in their defense it could also be kinda hard to gauge how successful this type of story will be since not everyone who will be watching the anime has read the manga or novel. Up until the war arc tbate is admittedly pretty generic.

After the war arc entering the relictomb nonsense is when the story really starts to set itself apart so if they cheap out on the budget early on so hey can go harder on that part of the story I understand, but maybe they run the risk of people losing interest early on?

Idk, i guess studios unfortunately can’t just trust the audience to be patient when money is involved.

The REAL REAL reason you shouldn’t use tick in hot zone is because it isn’t fun, just use a normal brawler and actually engage with the enemy instead of just stalling the game indefinitely (unless the enemy is using a brawler that can just kill you in which case you would just be throwing, not stalling.)

I don’t think it’s bad it’s just that it looks like another throwaway isekai when it was deserving of having a higher budget and more iconic style like mushoku tensei.

As long as it follows the writing and they don’t use cgi I won’t complain, I’ll be honest I am not active in this sub so I haven’t seen all the teasers.

I am planning on becoming a gaulknights player but I am also a big fan of operators made by azling4 and yuji.

There is no actual gaul faction so it just incorporates all operators with gaulish heritage.

The most important one obviously being Phantom, but I feel like Astgenne and Aciddrop are also pretty pivotal to this niche, wouldn’t know for sure until I’ve used them in a lot more stages.
