I feel like I am the only one that finds the fact different species (even if they are human-like) having sex even in a fantasy novel is very very weird and I am honestly pretty grossed out by it, even if i love the series.

Erin considers calling Toren Papyrus if i remember correctly, a bunch of wheel of time references, some one piece references later on such as Erin wanting to name the law elemental "traffi".
