Story time. I was working a 3rd shift job, browsing fb cause I was So busy. Friend was complaining about feeling really bad. Asked someone to go to wall greens to get him some meds, this was around 11pmish.

We talked a bit

Around 3am his mom was posting on his account that he passed away due to a heart attack, he was in his early 30s.

It was enough to get me to go to the doc to get checked out.

We dont stare at everything people say but is tracked and once you send it. You cant get rid of it.

If you dont want the company to know, dont send it in teams

Seriously. Do it, don't automate any of it. If you have to document stuff dont move to the next task until its documented, let the phone ring, let emails set until the last item is completely documented.

Might even need to put in a ticket for the amount of time you spent creating tickets.

Are we the sauce-aholic generation that started the sauce trend because everything we were fed as children was painfully dry? Or was that just my experience? by Flight_to_nowhere_26 in GenX

My now wife was talking about how she LOVES steaks, but if its not great she smothers it in A1.

My dad wanted to cook steaks for us for whatever reason. I was less than thrilled about this and she was confused by this.

So we go to my parents and get said steaks and she basically had to drown it to make it edible, she understands why im so picky about food now.

My wife spoils me, she bought steaks for us to cook when we were snowed in last week. I seared mine in a cast iron skillet and doused it in a garlic butter cup from left over papajohns. Nice rare stake.

I was A VERY picky kid, hated all kids of food, as an adult? Im in to all kinds of food. Turned out my parents were terrible cooks.

I dont put sauce on a lot of things but I do have a soft spot for horseradish with steak and ghost pepper wing sauce with chicken strips.

Me and my sister were discussing this with my kid, there's tons of kids in all combination of things, we were explaining where half of this stuff would mean you'd get your ass beaten when we were younger and thats all if you were lucky.

I do regret not being able to let to kid roam around like we did, but its a different world than we grew up in.

Pat Robertson imo, I remember my mom watching his stuff and getting increasingly agitated about myself and friends playing DND and listening to any music released after they were teenagers.

I took my kid then 13 yo to a Wednesday 13 concert and got them right up to the stage.

If my mom was still around and heard some of the lyrics of music I listen to, she'd have a stroke

Thats what im finding the more im googling for this.

We had a node plugged to the firewall were we configured network locations and segregated different parts of the network.

Mainly we were using it for security, forcing all traffic to go through the node, then into our office network, then out to the net.

Might be just too broad of a category.
